After a good wait, Hitman 3 is out and in players' hands. After an action packed release trailer, players can experience the action of the end of the World of Assassination trilogy for themselves.

Much of what made the previous two titles so popular is still present in Hitman 3. All the various firearms, gadgets, and "accidental" methods of murder are still available to players in spades, but that tends to leave a bunch of bodies lying around. Hiding these bodies is absolutely essential, so for anyone who hasn't played the previous two games, here's a quick guide on how to hide bodies in Hitman 3.

Step 1: Make Sure the Area is Clear

Before hiding a body, whether it be unconscious or dead, one must actually have a body to hide. Since the whole point of hiding a body is to ensure no one gets suspicious, it's important to make sure that the victim is not knocked out or killed while around others. While Hitman 3's trophies may not include one for going completely undetected in a mission, it is a time-honored Hitman tradition to do so. Killing in isolated areas is essential to making that happen.

Step 2: Grab and Drag

Once an NPC is down, walk over to their body and grab it. There's a dedicated button for this with each controller and control scheme, and it's one of the first taught to players. Grab ahold and start dragging the body to a hiding place. Once again, it's important that this is done someplace where other NPCs will not catch Agent 47 in the act, as this will cause them to grow hostile towards him. There's generally no extenuating circumstances, so expect hostility if caught with a body even in the murder mystery-centered mission where it might make sense for a detective to move a body.

Step 3: Hiding Places

The most common method for hiding a body is to activate Agent 47's tactical vision, which outlines certain things in the immediate environment. Things like closets and bins outlined in gold are receptacles for bodies. Just as carrying experience from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3 digitally will update progress, carrying over body hiding experience from the previous games will help here.

Of course, a receptacle is not always readily available for a body to be hidden in. In these cases there are a couple of other options. Bodies can be dropped off convenient ledges or into pits, but this will kill unconscious NPCs, leading to a score reduction if they're not targets. Sometimes all a body really needs to be hidden is an isolated room where no one will come in. With proper level and NPC pattern memorization, such places can be found. Looking for them will keep players busy while everyone waits for Hitman 3's server issues to be cleared up.

Hitman 3 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
