"Welcome to Dubai, 47," are the words that usher players into the new trailer for Hitman 3. Players eagerly awaiting the reveal of the next location in Hitman 3 now have something to admire in great detail.

The most recent title in the long-running series, Hitman 3 will follow the same formula as the previous two entries. Each level will take place in a different sandbox area, where players will explore ways to kill their targets. Previous highlighted locations have included a runway event, a health spa in the mountains, and a race track, among others. Now players can get a glimpse of one of the missions for Hitman 3, appropriately titled "On Top of the World."

Players can watch the first five minutes of Hitman 3's Dubai mission through a new trailer, or at least, what the first five minutes could look like. Agent 47 starts, rather surprisingly, outside the building in a special suit, walking along support beams and looking for an entry point. After finding one, he gets some help from someone to get inside. One vent and a quick-change later, and he is dressed inconspicuously, ready for action.

That action, however, does not manifest in this particular Hitman 3 trailer. Agent 47 takes a pamphlet and makes his way calmly to the opening ceremony of the building he is in (nicknamed the Sceptre). He enters the crowd and listens patiently during the opening ceremony, given by one of his targets, which concludes with an enormous ribbon cutting and a lot of confetti. Compared to the last Hitman 3 gameplay trailer released for the game through Xbox, there's certainly less action. No routes, possible assassination methods, or even possibilities, which often grant access to targets or assassination opportunities, are revealed. Obviously, playing in the world's tallest building gives rise to many ideas, but none are explored in the trailer.

In all likelihood, the Dubai mission will double as a tutorial for newer players. The opening cinematic of Hitman 3 shows Agent 47 and Grey, his target/accomplice from the last game, approaching the building by plane, providing a very smooth transition into the level.

Most of the new features since the last Hitman title will likely surface here. Only one, Agent 47's new camera, is shown in the trailer, when 47 uses it to scan a lock for Grey to open. Other features, like how Hitman 3 utilizes the PS5's Dualsense controller, will most likely be elaborated on as the level plays out. Hopefully, this will mark the first time Agent 47's Silverballers are almost literally in players' hands.

Hitman 3 will release on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on January 20, 2021.
