It has only been a few days since the launch of Pokemon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch, and already, many fans have been raving about the video game. In the same way that Pokemon Sword and Shield implemented its exclusive Pokemon in other titles in the franchise after its launch, some of the Hisui Region exclusive creatures are now set to make their appearances in the series' other video games. Recently, news has appeared that the Hisuian version of Voltorb will start appearing in the wild in the mobile title Pokemon GO.

Given how different Arceus is in terms of gameplay, it is not surprising that the open-world RPG is already surpassing sales records. It seems that many players are thoroughly enjoying the refreshing take on the battle system, as it deviates completely from the normal pocket monster catching ways of the previous titles. What's more, the Hisui Region offers a lot of new and exciting areas to explore, and exclusive Pokemon to encounter. Therefore, it is not surprising that The Pokemon Company will also implement these new Pokemon in other titles like Pokemon GO.

According to Pokemon fan site Serebii, the Hisui version of Voltorb will appear in Pokemon GO after the current Team GO Rocket events on the mobile title. Though no official news has been shared by Niantic on any Pokemon GO channels, the site already shared an in-game screenshot of the Hisuian Voltorb in its mobile game form. The site also shares that beyond appearing in the wild, the Hisuian Voltorb will also be part of Event Research and Special Research tasks in Pokemon GO. Serebii also states that players will not be able to evolve the Hisuian Voltorb into the Hisui form of Electrode, though there may be speculation that the evolution will be introduced later on in the game.

This kind of update likely gives players of Pokemon Legends: Arceus hope that the other Hisuian-exclusive Pokemon will also be making their way into Pokemon GO. This also bodes well for players who still patronize Sword and Shield, as this may mean the Hisui Pokemon will also appear in the Galar region as part of future events.

Hopefully Pokemon GO and Niantic will share more official news about the Hisuian Voltorb and other Hisui Region Pokemon soon. Fans are likely waiting for announcements and are probably excited to add more Pokemon to the already large Pokedex of the mobile title.
