After launching right at the tail end of April, Season 3 is now in full effect for all Call of Duty: Vanguard players. The biggest piece of this season, Operation Monarch, launched a few days ago, bringing the massive kaiju monsters Godzilla and King Kong into Call of Duty: Warzone alongside new cosmetic bundles. Alongside the arrival of the Monsterverse, Vanguard players have seen new weapons, operators, game modes, and maps get added to the rotation as well.

Unfortunately, the latest season hasn't gone as smoothly as both players and developers may have liked. Following the arrival of Godzilla and King Kong, many players have seemingly found the new mode lacking and disappointing, including high profile players like NICKMERCS and Dr. Disrespect. From a technical standpoint, Call of Duty players started reporting major server instability issues, with matches experiencing more lag and even a bug that prevented players from returning to the game even after winning in the Gulag.

While Activision and its numerous studios continue to work on fixing those higher priority issues, Call of Duty: Vanguard players have been running into smaller problems here and there. Thankfully, these are much less severe and won't break anyone's game, though one clip in question may even cause more than a few players to crack a smile.

Over on the Call of Duty: Vanguard subReddit, a user named xCxrey posted a video showcasing the after match MVP screen where the game selects three players for categories like highest K/D ratio, most objective completions, and other awards. Things are progressing smoothly enough until the final award winner for Honorable Mention. Unfortunately, things are already way off for this MVP screen as the first two characters animations are off, with the characters way out of position making the whole thing look odd.

However, the biggest issue comes with the third award nominee for Honorable Mention. Instead of doing any animation at all, the Call of Duty character is essentially stuck in a strange looking T-pose, turning around without moving with the camera seemingly not knowing where to point and the stuck character having a strange smirk on their face. The strange animations naturally sent the commenters into a frenzy or laughter and jokes at the game's expense.

There were also more than a few people in the thread who have pointed out that these MVP screens have seemingly been broken since day 1. Many players recounted the things they've seen over the past few months including missing heads, weapons, and even objects outright disappearing. Some find this to be funny and a welcomed problem, though it hasn't stopped some irritated Call of Duty Vanguard players from requesting that Sledgehammer remove them entirely.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
