Although the forthcoming PlayStation 4 title Death Stranding is still shrouded in mystery, it's a safe bet to make that its director and Kojima Productions founder Hideo Kojima is hard at work behind the scenes bringing the title to life. Of course, with Kojima in the director's chair, there's no doubt that he has plenty of responsibilities to undertake on an everyday basis, and as it happens, he recently took to his official Twitter account to give fans an idea as to what his daily work process looks like.

As seen in the series of tweets below, the Kojima Productions head has a full plate of duties to tackle as soon as he wakes up to face each day, especially when his latest project is in full-swing production. As one might expect from Kojima-san, he takes a meticulous approach to game development, as he has his hand in literally every aspect of a title's creation right down to the very last detail of a project's foundation.

While it's unfortunate that Hideo Kojima doesn't have any actual updates for where Death Stranding stands in its production cycle for 2017, it's definitely interesting to get a small peek behind the curtain as far as his process is concerned. Without a doubt, after having such a storied career so far, it's highly likely that Kojima-san will continue implementing such an in-depth approach to game development even when it comes to his future plans beyond the forthcoming PlayStation 4 title.

When it comes to the masterful level of control that Hideo Kojima has with his games like the upcoming Death Stranding, it seems as if he has a solid handle on exactly what the project's end point is going to be, and maintains enough discipline to only reveal information to the public when he deems it to be pertinent. For instance, the Metal Gear creator has already said that he has Death Stranding's release date set, but has decided not to divulge as much until the time is right.

At this point, there's not much known about Death Stranding other than the details that can be gleaned from its first two trailers starring the well-known Hollywood actors Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus, as well as film director Guillermo del Toro. So far, Kojima has confirmed that the title is an intuitive open world action game, but as far as any plot details are concerned, even its cast is somewhat in the dark, as Mikkelsen has claimed to not understand its story. Of course, Kojima is infamous for creating games with intricate and convoluted narratives, but perhaps it was his choice as a scrupulous craftsman to leave out some key details for the actor about the title while doing his daily duties as the director.

Kojima Productions' Death Stranding is currently in development for PlayStation 4.
