While on a recent trip to Japan, famed talk show host Conan O’Brien took some time out to visit Hideo Kojima’s development studio – Kojima Productions. While a lot has already been posted online about O’Brien’s visit, a recent image uploaded by the talk show host has a lot of Kojima fans pondering.

Posted on his personal Twitter account, the image shows O’Brien and Kojima standing together in front of a statue of the studio's mascot, with the caption suggesting that the two may be working on something together. It’s worth noting that Kojima had already posted the same image on his own Twitter account as a part of an album earlier that same day.

While it is currently unknown what exactly this “super-secret” revelation may be, some have guessed that it may be related to Kojima’s upcoming and much-publicized game – Death Stranding. Despite several trailers for the game already having been released, many are still very unsure about what the title really is about. One thing is for sure though; the game is set to feature some Hollywood names in the cast list (including Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen) and O’Brien may just be the latest addition – albeit a strange one.

This does seem rather unlikely given the nature of O’Brien’s work and the theme of the game. Perhaps, a more possible explanation would be that the famed video game developer and the talk show host may be working on a piece for the popular Clueless Gamer segment O’Brien frequently hosts on his show. The segment features O’Brien and a celebrity guest playing the latest video games in a humorous fashion.

It is important to note that these are just potential answers as to what the two may be working on. With so little to go on, it really is very difficult to make concrete guesses as to what the project may be. Whatever it is though, hopefully, it turns out to be something many find entertaining – and are also able to understand.
