Since Ni No Kuni II: The Revenant Kingdom was released onto the Nintendo Switch, many new players have picked up the game. Some still have not uncovered some hidden quests!

In total, Ni No Kuni II has a whopping 175 side-quests - so it is very easy to miss a few! Some of the quests can only be done towards the end of the story, and new game plus quests appear after finishing. Here are the most hidden, hardest to unlock, and secretive quests in Revenant Kingdom!

9 Who's The Big Boss (#060)

This quest requires players to have learned the 'Nature's Tongue' spell. How do they get this? By building the Evermore Spellworks, and raising it up a few levels. The spell will be learned automatically.

After the spell is learned, gather Evan and friends and head to the Forest Of Niall's west side. Here there are some mushrooms that need to be enlarged! Hop up the new path, and players will find Greenglade Cave. With the spell learned, a cutscene will play and the quest will begin!

8 You Can't Make An Omelet (#068)

'You Can't Make An Omelette' can be unlocked by visiting Persha at the Weapon Workshop in Evermore. She requires ten 'steely nuggets' to forge a new pan - to make the aforementioned omelet.

However, there is a pesky catch: at least thirty different weapons must have been crafted before Mom's Favourite Pan recipe becomes available. Persha may also need to be Master Rank in Evermore, too. Once these are achieved, take the nuggets (found in the Mining Camps) back to Pasha!

7 Top Marks For Trying (#002)

Quest #002 is a big one. After players complete #001, a strange lady stops the party in their path. She is the key to this mission! 'Top Marks For Trying' involves finding and fighting through nine available Dreamer's Doors and retrieving the associated fragments.

It is recommended to wait until later in the game for this quest, as the Doors can lead to some dangerous situations. Research stations in Evermore can assist with buffs and can apply stronger abilities after the main story is completed.

6 The Great Higgledy Hunt (#091)

The Great Higgledy Hunt isn't the hardest quest in Ni No Kuni II, but it requires a lot to be done before players can even unlock the quest. The quest itself involves hunting down five different Higgledies and retrieving a character's wool from each of them.

To even begin this pesky quest, players should be around level 42 with their party. They also need to have completed Quest #032 (Baby Higgledy's Big Adventure) and #033 (Higgledy Hide-And-Seek!). Only then will the mission be available. The castle also needs to be upgraded to level 3!

5 Tasty Treats Among The Trees (#063)

Like the last one, this caper of a quest has a few requirements before it is actionable. Players must have completed quests #027 and #043 (The Hard-Nosed Huntress and Flippos, The Novice Hunter). These will make sure that the character is available to provide Evan with the quest.

The quest itself is found in Chapter 6, and requires bringing Filippos a Hydropolitan Stew - but this is a task in and of itself. The dish is a level 9 at Floyd's restaurant, in Evermore, so this must be raised before players can commence... or, it can be purchased from Hydropolis.

4 Legend Of The Bright Bellies (#167)

Sidequest #107 is a bit of a doozy. The Legend Of The Bright Bellies has a few prerequisites - first, the recommended player level is 68. It is also a post-game quest. Players must also have recruited Furnest (80 separate missions for Swift Solutions must be completed before he appears).

But that's not all! Quest #107 (Furnest, the Inscrutable Author) needs to be completed first, and quest #160 - Dekkah's Grand Tour - as this gives Evan the recipe to create the item needed for The Legend Of The Bright Bellies: a Sultan's Crown. After this extensive list is finished, then players can crack on with the quest in question!

3 Blossoming Art Career (#166)

This cute quest hinges on finding a particular flower for a budding artist. The kicker is: it can only be found as a random drop in the 10th (and secret) Dreamer's Door. Remember those? They get unlocked as quest #002, and Evan and co are required to complete all nine, to unlock the secret tenth door.

Once the last door is found, players need to rummage around and collect all of the sparkling drops that they can - until they come across an Opal Huebloom. This could be immediate or may take a while. Loot is randomized so there's really no way to tell. A Blossoming Art Career is also a post-game quest, that requires #099 (Hipponoe, The Shy Artist) to be completed.

2 Tyran's Lament (#162)

Finishing this quest will gain Tyran as a citizen in the kingdom, but finding and completing the mission can be problematic for players. The quest is available after the game is completed, and requires quest #147 to be done and dusted before completion. Then, players can talk to Chingis and start the quest.

Tyran is hidden away in a grotto - but once players find him - that's not all. He asks the party to search out three of his friends before budging from his spot. The rest of the quest is fetching the fickle friends from different areas of the map.

1 A Secret Sweet Tooth (#055)

Here is another quest that requires a bit of a run-around to unlock and complete: #055, A Secret Sweet Tooth. While among the somewhat early side-quests, this one cannot be completed for a long while. In Goldpaw, a 'Sweet-Toothed Man' will ask Evan for a slice of rosehip tart. Simple enough, right?

Wrong. The tart cannot be made until the main story has been completed. It is another quest that relies on #160 (Dekkah's World Tour) - during the mission, Dekkah will give players the recipe to make rosehip tarts. However - it can only be cooked at a level 10 Cookery. Once this has been achieved, then it can be created, and given to the Sweet-Toothed Man!
