The creator behind Her Story and Telling Lies is already hard at work on their next game. Sam Barlow, in celebration of Her Story's 5th anniversary, took to Twitter to announce the mystery project. It's so mysterious that it doesn't even have a full name yet. For now, Barlow is calling it Project A███████, which is being made as part of his new production company Half  Mermaid.

For those confused by the title of the game, that's probably the intent. Along with the game's announcement, Barlow also launched its Steam profile. The Steam profile is similarly censored, filled with partially revealed game information. Even the game's release date is listed as 2███.

Of the readable text in the Steam profile, there are four different time periods listed. In 1968, the word "Gothic" is readable. In 1971, there's "New York."  In 1999, "pop star." And in the fourth timeframe, 2022, there's "Barlow," "custodian," and "concordance." Clearly, much remains to be revealed.

There are more clues hidden in the profile. There are a number of short video clips and screenshots, including a snake moving, an object on fire, someone's feet sticking out of a pool of water, a masquerade mask, a window, a gun, mirror, and lips. A mystery lies at the heart of Project A███████. Sam Barlow is in his wheelhouse.

Project A███████ is currently in development.
