The team behind Hello Neighbor is getting a new home to continue developing all kinds of media for its bizarre, horror franchise.

Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game that found popularity on YouTube and other streaming sites via popular content creators freaking out over the game's weirdness. This unique horror game puts players in a small neighborhood across the street for a strange character who paces around his bizarre house. Upon snooping around the man’s property, players discover more and more twisted secrets and surprises while trying to hide from the neighbor.

In a press release, tinyBuild has announced that the company is acquiring the team behind Hello Neighbor from Dynamic Pixels, who will now be known as Eerie Guest Studios. tinyBuild is planning to invest $15 million into the Hello Neighbor franchise, which includes the development team acquisition in the amount.

CEO of tinyBuild, Alex Nichiporchik, said in the press release, “We are working on more acquisitions to strengthen the brand and investing heavily into cross-media.” Nichiporchik went on to mention that the Hello Neighbor Animated Series pilot hit 12 million views on YouTube and that a graphic novel is coming in October. It was also recently announced that Hello Neighbor would be coming to Stadia and would be free with a Stadia Pro subscription.

Along with the 12 million views on Hello Neighbor's Animated Series pilot episode, tinyBuild mention in its press release that Hello Neighbor has crossed over 40 million game downloads and has sold more than 2 million books. Recently, Hello Neighbor was added to Sony's PlayStation Now streaming service.
