Completing the main acts of Hello Neighbor 2 Deluxe Edition allows players to explore the stories of two new antagonists. The Janitor in Hello Neighbor 2 Back To School DLC, and The Librarian in the Late Fees DLC.
Hello Neighbor 2 Late Fees DLC takes place inside Raven Brook’s Library. The purpose of the DLC is to investigate the location of the scattered Books and place them on the Library’s shelves to acquire the key to the Restricted Section. The Librarian won’t let anyone set foot in this part of the Library, which spikes Quentin’s curiosity even more on what kind of secrets lie in the Library’s Restricted Section in Hello Neighbor 2.
Where To Find All Books In Late Fees DLC
The Books in Hello Neighbor 2 Late Fees DLC are on the Library's floor, shelves, and tables. Some of the Books can even be displayed on the Library’s walls or tucked away from visitors’ eyes. There are a total of 12 Books inside and outside the Library’s grounds, and here is where to find all of them:
Treble Clef Book
The Treble Clef Book is the easiest to acquire as it is located on the main stairs outside the Library. The Bookcase for this Book is on the ground floor, tucked behind the stairs. To reach it, climb the stacked Books in front of it and jump to the platform across.
Fire Book
The Fire Book is displayed on the first floor in Hello Neighbor 2. Open the display box to get it, then head down behind the Librarian's desk to find the Fire Bookcase. Place the Book inside to light it up.
Music Note Book
To get the Music Note book, follow these steps:
- Descend to the ground floor from the Library’s main stairs.
- Head right.
- Climb the stair-like Bookcases to locate the Music Note Book at the top.
- Descend to the ground.
- Climb the main stairs.
- Turn right, and head straight until the Music Note Bookcase appears.
Rocket Book
The Rocket Book lies in the shadows of the first floor. To reach it, players should do the following:
- Take the stairs next to The Librarian’s desk.
- Pull the lever on the wall next to the library’s main backdoor to free the caged Book.
- Get past the opened bars.
- Grab the Rocket Book off the floor, but be careful because it is placed in the darkness, so some may not see where it is.
The Rocket Bookcase is on the first floor above another Bookcase. To get there, Quentin has to:
- Climb the heater.
- Leap across to the wooden planks that lead directly to it.
Cat Book
The Cat Book is behind a small shack on the roof. To reach it:
- Climb the right stairs near The Librarian's desk.
- Pass the previously opened bars to climb another set of stairs.
- Remove the chair blocking the roof door.
- Head to the shack.
- Grab the Book from behind the shack.
The Cat Bookcase is inside the glass roof. Head to the glass opening and walk on the wooden planks to place the Book on the Bookcase shelves.
Arrow Book
After placing the Cat Book in its place, players should:
- Head back to the roof.
- Get the Arrow Book from under the chickens’ coop.
- Descend to the ground floor in Hello Neighbor 2.
- Walk past the door behind the main desk, and turn right.
- Climb to the Bookcase.
- Place the Book in its rightful place.
Flower Book
To the furthest right corner of the ground floor, players can find the display box of the Flower Book, which is framed next to the back door. After collecting it, head to the roof then jump on the chandelier and sway it to reach the Flower Bookcase and place the Book on its shelf.
Film Book
The Film Book is on the ground next to the blocked stairs of the Restricted Section on the first floor. Grab the Book off the floor and head to its Bookcase in front of it.
Planet Book
The Planet Book is on top of the tallest Bookcase on the first floor in Hello Neighbor 2. Upon climbing all the Bookcases behind The Librarian's desk, players can find the Planet Book.
The Planet Bookcase is obscured by two wooden planks. To remove it:
- Head to the Library's main door.
- Grab the Crowbar from the table on its left side.
- Drop to the first floor.
- Head left to demolish the planks blocking the Bookcase.
- Put the Book away in its place.
Theater Book
Unlocking the locked door on the roof is an essential step in acquiring the Theater Book, as it is located behind it. To unlock the door, players should do the following:
- Head to the Librarian’s desk to grab the key.
- Ascend to the roof to unlock the locked door.
- Interact with the machine on the right side to lower the chandelier.
- Keep walking forward until Quentin reaches the fan’s power box.
- Collect the Theater Book from beneath it.
The Theater Bookcase can be found on the left side of the main stairs, on the ground floor.
Moon Book
Once the Theater Book is in its place, grab the Moon Book from the table on the other side of the main stairs. To find the Book’s Bookcase, players should follow these steps:
- Go to the Library’s main entrance.
- Climb the small Bookcase on its right side.
- Keep climbing until Quentin lands in front of the blocked cracked wall.
- Remove the planks blocking the way out.
- Jump from one platform to another until Quentin reaches another broken wall that leads back into the Library.
- Get the Moon Book from the inventory and place it on the Bookcase.
Spade Book
The Spade Book is stuck on top of the Library’s fountain in the garden in Hello Neighbor 2. Getting it out is easy as players only need to turn the pipe handle for the fountain to spit it out in front of their feet.
The Spade Bookcase is challenging to find since it’s not within the Library’s walls or ground, but it is submerged in what seems like a purple liquid in the Library’s backyard. To reach it, players need to:
- Climb on the broken fence.
- Leap onto the bent lamp post.
- Jump onto the wooden platform across.
- Turn the handle to drain the gooey liquid filling the pit.
- Descend to the floating Bookcase inside the hole.
- Activate the second pipe to reach the Spade Bookcase.
- Put the Spade Book in the Bookcase.
After collecting all 12 Books, head to the main door and pull the handle in front of it to drop the Restricted Area key from the chandelier.
Hello Neighbor 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
