There are several Acts in Hello Neighbor 2 that players must go through before rescuing Aaron Peterson. Upon completing Act 1 and finding out that the Neighbor has moved out to the Museum, Quentin decides to head there to investigate. However, it’s impossible to enter the Museum as the main door is locked.
Just like the previous chapter in Hello Neighbor 2, Act 2 is all about finding the missing cash register buttons. That’s because the cash register holds the key to the Museum.
How To Beat Act 2 In Hello Neighbor 2
To beat Act 2 in Hello Neighbor 2, players need to find the key that opens the main door in the Museum. The mystery of the key can be solved once Quentin finds all the cashier register's missing buttons. Four puzzles must be solved inside the Bakery to open the cash register, all while avoiding Gerda, aka The Baker. The Bakery is reached by going east from the WCB4 TV. The four puzzles are:
- The Cat Puzzle
- The Bush Puzzle
- The Clock Puzzle
- The Diary Puzzle
The Cat Puzzle (1st Floor)
To get the cash register key, follow these steps:
- Upon entering the Bakery from the front door, crouch down and wait for Gerda to turn around from the players.
- Once she does, quickly walk to her and take the key from her back pocket.
- Get out of the Bakery and enter through the back door.
- Head left inside a room with a locked fridge.
- Use the key to open it and grab the fish-shaped treat.
- Grab the red wheel before exiting the room for later.
- Place the treat in the cat’s bowl to distract it.
- The cash register button should be on the cat’s bed.
The Bush Puzzle (2nd Floor Balcony)
To solve the bush puzzle:
- Go to the second floor and enter the bedroom.
- Take the scissors from the desk on the left.
- Enter the bathroom attached to the bedroom.
- Place the wheel on the red heater and rotate it.
- Get out from the bathroom window and jump left to the balcony.
- Once the bush in the middle starts to wither, use the scissors to cut it.
- Grab the cash register button.
The Book Puzzle (2nd Floor)
Upon forcing the Baker to investigate the second floor, quickly jump out off the balcony and complete the following steps:
- Enter the kitchen through the back door of the Bakery.
- Grab the fire extinguisher on the right for later.
- Head to the freezer at the end of the kitchen.
- Take the frozen key from inside.
- Turn around and place it inside the oven.
- Once the ice melts, use the fire extinguisher.
- Grab the key and head to the second floor.
- Approach the locked diary book in the middle of the room.
- Open it to take the cash register button.
The Clock Puzzle (2nd Floor)
The clock puzzle requires a series of steps:
- Inside the bedroom, there is a patterned square at the end of the bed.
- Use the scissors to cut the stitched patch and grab one of the clock’s hands.
- Turn around and walk to the clock near the rocking chair.
- Place the hand on the clock.
- Keep moving both hands on the clock until it becomes 10:35 (small hand on 10 and big hand on 7).
- Take the cash register button number.
To open the cash register, type in 1576, which can be seen on the photo to the right, and take the Wing-Shaped Key.
Where To Use The Wing-Shaped Key In Hello Neighbor 2
The Wing-Shaped Key is used to unlock the main door of the Museum in Hello Neighbor 2. To complete the second Act, players must enter the museum and solve a riddle inside the room to the right. The puzzle involves collecting small houses and placing them on a map. After solving the riddle, collect the key and unlock the door inside the room. Explore the new area, and eventually, players will get a Heart-Shaped Key that can open a door on the upper floor; go there and interact with a picture frame. A cutscene will start, and Act 2 will be completed.
Hello Neighbor 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
