Avid followers of GameRant and Heavy Rain may remember we ran an article last month, telling you the demo was coming February 11th. But for those of you who just can’t wait, it’s up on the PSN store right now. But wait! There’s a catch!

The demo is linked into the pre-release interactive game ‘Four Days’, and requires you to gather the clues you’ve acquired, before being able to download the demo. What’s that? The clues were so cryptic and undecipherable that you don’t have any clue what to do? Don’t worry, here at GameRant, we just want to help.

First, head over to Precinct 52 (the official website created for the purposes of the demo). Assuming you were a part of the mysterious ‘Four Days’, simply use your initial details to log in. In case you haven’t already signed up, just hit ‘Register’, and follow the on-screen instructions.

You’ll then be asked to select four pieces of evidence. Simply select;

  • The short cigarette butt
  • The diner with a Sphinx on it (Diner C)
  • The 117h tyre tracks
  • The Origami Bird (as shown above)

You’ll then be given a code, with which you can download the Heavy Rain demo. Enjoy!

According to CVG, the demo consists of;

…two chapters, one featuring Norman Jayden, an FBI agent brought in to help local authorities track down the Origami Killer, and the other staring Scott Shelby, a private detective hired by the families of past victims of the Origami Killer to find the serial killer.

What do you think of the Heavy Rain demo? Are you looking forward to the game’s release?

Heavy Rain walks into stores, buys a newspaper, looks around a bit, then walks out again on February 23rd (USA) and February 24th (Europe) exclusively on the Playstation 3.
