There are 10 classes in Hearthstone that players can play as right now, and each of those classes has their own set of unique cards, rife with their own mechanics, intricacies, and uses. There are a ton of different decks that can be constructed within each class, each with its own set of strengths and weaknesses.

So, let's take a look at the Druid Class. We'll be looking at different mechanics unique to the class, and looking at a few cards that are going to make a huge difference in some of those decks.

10 EMBIGGEN

One of the cards that can make a minion-heavy deck really fun to run is Embiggen. Embiggen is a 0-cost spell that gives every single minion in the deck (not hand, but deck) +2/+2, while only upping their Mana cost by 1.

It can be an absolute riot to fill a deck full of cheap or mid-level minions, then boost them to unreasonable levels, allowing the player to assault on a level that an opponent simply cannot cope with.

9 MANA

A lot of Druid cards deal with Mana in a very specific way; there are quite a few cards that increase the maximum Mana crystals early, essentially giving players a head start on the late game. These cards aren't generally super cheap, but they can definitely be worth it if players have built a deck around cards with costs that are prohibitive in the early/mid-game.

There are also some cards that have different Mana costs, depending on how many Mana crystals the player has got overall. These are generally pretty powerful cards, and getting to use them for free if players have got the maximum Mana to afford it can be really crippling for an opponent.

8 TREANTS

One of the types of minions that the Druid is able to make really good use of is treants.

Treants are (usually) 2/2 minions that are cheap, easy to create a lot of, and easy to buff with a lot of cards in the Druid class. Not to mention, there are many cards that are great for a treant build.

7 POWER OF THE WILD

One of those cards great for a treant build is Power of the Wild. This is a 2-cost spell that either gives minions +1/+1 or summons a 3/2 Panther.

In most cases, that 3/2 Panther is going to be an utter waste of this card; save it for when there are a few treants out there, and make those treants hit harder and a bit harder to take down.

6 BLESSING OF THE ANCIENTS

Going hand-in-hand with that last card, another card that essentially has the same effect is Blessing of the Ancients. This is a 3-cost spell that gives minions +3/+3, and has the Twinspell effect, meaning it can be used twice, though it doesn't have to be on the same turn.

This is another great way to buff treants/cheap minions, and if used with 6-Mana, can be used twice on the same turn.

5 SOUL OF THE FOREST

Another great addition to a treant deck, Soul of the Forest is a 4-cost spell that gives all of the minions the Deathrattle: Summon a 2/2 treant.

This can really take the wind out of an opponent's sails, forcing them to deal with two sets of treants instead of one, making it feel like they're really not making any progress.

4 AEROPONICS

Yet another treant deck card, Aeroponics is a 5-cost spell that allows the player to draw two cards.

Sounds terrible, right? Except it costs 2 less Mana for each treant under the player's control. If a player has got just three treants, this is a card that allows them to draw two cards for free.

3 GLOWFLY SWARM

One of the nuttier cards in the Druid class, Glowfly Swarm is a 5-cost spell that summons a 2/2 Glowfly for each spell in a hand.

For a spell-heavy deck, this can create a literal board-full of minions in one card, and these can be just as easily buffed as treants can.

2 YSERA, UNLEASHED

One of the cards that's likely to send an opponent into a cursing fit is Ysera, Unleashed. This is a 9-cost, 4/12 minion that shuffles 7 Dream Portals into the deck. When a Dream Portal is drawn, it summons a random dragon.

That dragon can be a real waste, summoning something that really isn't going to be that helpful, or it could summon one of the absolute best minions in the game. On average, dragons are some of the stronger minions in Hearthstone, so more often than not, a player is going to get some really good value out of this card.

1 GORU THE MIGHTREE

Goru the Mightree is a 7-cost, 5/10 minion that has a Battlecry that causes the player's treants to have +1/+1 for the rest of the game. In a deck focused around summoning treants, this card is going to take the deck from being good to being great.

While it does have a somewhat prohibitive Mana-cost, the Druid can get to 7-Mana before any other class, so it's reasonable to assume it wouldn't take that long for this minion to be used.
