A Hearthstone artist may have accidentally leaked the upcoming Mini-Set for March of the Lich King. A few pieces of unused art in his recently-posted gallery may have given Hearthstone players a sneak peek at the upcoming Mini-Set.Konstantin Turovec is a famous Hearthstone artist who has worked on many Warcraft projects over the past decade. In addition to providing artwork for nearly two dozen Hearthstone card sets, Turovec also did illustrations for World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3.RELATED: Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 3 Adds New Minion Types, Hero, and RewardsCustomarily, Turovec posts his gallery of work for each Hearthstone expansion a short time after the card sets go live. His most recent Hearthstone post showed off his incredible art for the March of the Lich King Signature Legendary Alexandros Mograine, Felerin the Forgotten, and many other gorgeous cards. However, some of the art has yet to appear in any Hearthstone cards. With titles like Plague Eruption, Felscale Evoker, Ransack, and Ichor of Undeath, players think a Naxxramas Mini-Set may be coming soon, especially given the stone-and-pipe backgrounds reminiscent of the iconic necropolis.

This isn’t the first time Turovec’s Artstation gallery has revealed a Hearthstone Mini-Set ahead of schedule. Shortly before Murder at Castle Nathria’s “Maw and Disorder” Mini-Set launched, some of his art allowed players to correctly guess the courtroom-themed cards were coming. Considering Turovec’s habit of doing so has yet to be corrected, many fans wonder if Hearthstone likes him posting these teasers to generate hype.

Either way, players won’t have to wait long to find out what the next Mini-Set will be. Hearthstone recently announced the Heroic Brawliseum for March of the Lich King, which has historically taken place a week before the new Mini-Set is formally announced. If Hearthstone follows precedent, players could get an announcement some time next week, with the Mini-Set possibly dropping as early as January 31.

Players are excited at the prospect of another Naxxramas-themed Hearthstone set. The first new cards added to Hearthstone were in the Curse of Naxxramas adventure in 2014. The iconic World of Warcraft raid is beloved by many players, who would love to see a more modern take on the expansion for a new era of Hearthstone–perhaps with fun achievements like Heigan the Unclean's “Safety Dance.” Many players also laughed at the prospect of seeing a fourth card version of Kel’Thuzad, who also appeared in Scholomance Academy and Murder at Castle Nathria. Regardless of the Mini-Set’s theme, Hearthstone players can purchase a full playset of the new cards for $20 or for 2000 Gold once it is available.

Hearthstone is available now for Mobile and PC.
