Hearthstone just announced the Mini-Set for the Festival of Legends card expansion. This exciting new batch of cards promises to remix the Hearthstone formula with a new take on familiar types and keywords.

Apparently, the ongoing Festival of Legends has annoyed the Grimtotem Tauren tribes in the Thousand Needles, causing them to seek the Audiopocalypse, the end of all music in Azeroth. In order to save the music, the bands from the Festival of Legends are working together in a way that might be familiar to some players.

The 38-card Mini-Set is bringing back dual-class cards, first prototyped in the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan set and then further refined in Hearthstone's Scholomance Academy expansion. These genre-bending cards feature new class combinations, such as the Abyssal Bassist and Through Fel and Flames, two Warrior/Demon Hunter cards coming in the Mini-Set. Like in previous expansions, these cards blend common archetypes and keywords found in both classes, like Weapons and Rush found in both Warrior and Demon Hunter, while also combining the musical genres represented by each class in Festival of Legends.

The Audiopocalypse is also introducing Remixed cards to Hearthstone. Like the Harmonic spells from Festival of Legends, Remixed cards change each turn they are in a player’s hand. However, rather than having two forms it swaps between, Remixed cards can have several, such as the four different versions of the Remixed Tuning Fork Warrior weapon, each of which has a unique Battlecry effect.

Players can expect to see the rest of the Festival of Legends Mini-Set revealed over the week leading up to its launch on May 31. Like previous Hearthstone Mini-Sets, fans can pick up the entire 72-card playset for $15 or 2,000 Gold – or its Golden version for $70 or 10,000 Gold. The cards will otherwise be added to the pool of cards they can open from Festival of Legends packs.

Were that not exciting enough, Hearthstone is doing a crossover with Diablo 4 in celebration of the action RPG’s impending launch. From June 5 through 7, Diablo will return to Hearthstone Battlegrounds as a playable hero, and the Dark Wanderer Tavern Brawl is returning for the first time since 2017. For two weeks starting on June 7, players can challenge this epic Diablo 4-themed boss battle to earn a special card back during the event’s run. Progression is saved between weeks, so tenacious players will have plenty of time to try and reach the Secret Cow Level.

Hearthstone is available now for Mobile and PC.
