Blizzard Entertainment released the Scholomance Academy expansion for its Warcraft spin-off card game Hearthstone earlier this year. Scholomance Academy was first revealed in July, and after releasing in August it has received a number of additions through different content dumps. Now, the game is promising "several major announcements" during its big Fall Reveal livestream next week.

A teaser video for one of the game's upcoming reveals was posted to Twitter today, featuring a sinister eyeball opening at the top of an archway that World of Warcraft fans may recognize from the Darkmoon Faire. Festive carnival music plays in the background, and the short clip ends with purple curtains closing before revealing that the announcements will take place at 8:00 a.m. PT on October 22.

The event will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch, according to the official Hearthstone announcement page, and feature Director Benjamin Lee as well as Designers Pat Nagle, John McIntyre, and John Young delving into each reveal. Fans who watch at least 15 minutes on Twitch between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. PT can receive one free Scholomance Academy card pack, and a second for watching 30 minutes total.

Whatever is announced next Thursday will be the final phase of Hearthstone's "Year of the Phoenix," according to today's announcement post. While it's unclear how likely this may be, some of Hearthstone's announcements may also tie in with the upcoming release of World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion. Only time will tell, but fans of the digital card game will not have to wait long to see.

Hearthstone is available now for Android, iOS, and PC.
