Marvel Studios' Hawkeye series will introduce Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop to the MCU. Now, new photos from the Disney Plus series feature the Young Avenger in action, ready to take on her foes.

In the comics, Kate Bishop is a very skilled archer who will be taking up a new mantle as a superhero in the ever-growing world of the MCU. In Marvel lore, she's not only a member of the Young Avengers, she also took up the mantle of Hawkeye at one point.

The new Hawkeye images show two different sides of Kate. One photo shows her more out in the open, embracing her superhero status, while the other gives her a civilian and incognito look where her real identity comes into play. As the synopsis for the series states, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop will find themselves teaming up when forces from Hawkeye's past catch up to him. Complicating matters is the fact that Barton promised to make it back home in time for Christmas, likely explaining why he brings in Kate Bishop to help.

Hawkeye is set during the Christmas holiday and will be released around a similar time as well. The show will be one of many properties that will introduce younger heroes into the fold of the MCU. Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki and have all introduced younger heroes from the comic books. Disney Plus will have a slew of new content this December, including the long-awaited Boba Fett spin-off show.

An interesting topic as of late that's been tackled in superhero movies is who they are when they're not saving the world? A lot of them have flaws, quirks, and have weaknesses in certain areas that genuinely make them more relatable to fans.

Some of these movies will serve as back door pilots for many heroes. Black Panther 2 will be introducing Riri Williams, for example, and the Captain Marvel sequel will supposedly include Ms. Marvel after she makes her debut in her own series. Fans suspect this will all lead to a Young Avengers film, but only time will tell what Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have planned for these characters.

Hawkeye will be released on November 24th, 2021, on Disney Plus.
