Romance and marriage have always been one of the most appealing points in farming games, so when people pick up Harvestella, many would wonder if they can marry in the new Square Enix's game. Thankfully, even though there's no "marriage" system in Harvestella, players can still romance available candidates and ask them to move in once their intimacy is maximized.

However, before players jump to wooing their love interest, there are some things they need to know first about romance in Harvestella.

How To Unlock Romance In Harvestella

To unlock romance in Harvestella, players must complete the main story first. Every character has their own story and helping them with their problem will build up intimacy. Once it reaches the max level, the Partnership option will become available.

A Partnership is the closest thing to marriage in Harvestella. Triggering the Partnership with the desired character will allow them to move in and live with the players. There are eight characters that have side quests:

Aria

Aria is a scientist who came from the future. Players first find her as an unconscious Omen after a huge Monolite fall from the sky near Lethe Village. Later on, she tries to investigate Higan Canyon dungeon alone to retrieve her lost memories. Sadly, she faints from exhaustion and decides to stay in the village until her memories return. Aria’s intimacy increases after completing every main quest.

Cres

Cres is Lethe Village doctor and the first character players encounter in Harvestella. She nurses travelers back to health and always nags them to visit the clinic to get a check-up. She has a little brother and seems to be saving up some Grilla for an important project.

Asyl

Asyl is an orphan who grew up in a town near the Spring Seaslight and can be found in Nemea Village. Later on, he became part of the Argus brigade. The young man is first encountered in chapter three at Cres’s clinic, as he’s buying medicine for someone in his village.

Istina

Istina used to be the Shadow Assassin, but later on, gave up on that role. She is now working as a teacher at the orphanage in Nemea Village. She is carrying immense guilt because of her past occupation and is trying to change for the better.

Emo

Emo is first seen once players venture into the Jade Forest. The girl can be found at Shatolla Tavern performing a song.

Heine

Heine is an inventor who likes to flirt. He’s first encountered in Lethe Village and properly introduced in chapter 3B. Heine plays a key role in helping Emo since he invents a submarine, The Fiasola, helping them travel to an underwater dungeon.

Shrika

Just like Asyl and Heine, Shrika is also introduced at the beginning of chapter three. She’ll be standing near the fallen Monolite trying to figure out how to get inside. Shrika is a priestess and worshiper of the Seaslight.

Brakka

Brakka is a mercenary encountered in Argene. Travelers will hire him for 3,000 Grilla to aid them in entering a forbidden area. He also frees players and Aria from prison after they get caught.
