Natsume has finally revealed the Collector's Edition of Harvest Moon: One World for the Nintendo Switch and PS4. Although the pandemic delayed the release of the game until March 2, 2021, farming simulator fans will now be able to pre-order the Harvest Moon: One World Collector's Edition via Limited Run Games or the Limited Edition via NIS America.

Open for pre-order now, both versions of Harvest Moon: One World includes a few extra goodies for fans of the series. Along with the game, the Collector's Edition also features a magnetic musical diorama set and a cute chicken plush. Thankfully, the Collector's Edition is not a limited run meaning fans can take their time preordering, and both the PS4 and Switch versions of Harvest Moon: One World are available now for $99.99 USD. On the other hand, the Limited Edition of Harvest Moon: One World is a little cheaper at $79.99 USD and includes a CD soundtrack, animal lapel pins, and a cloth poster.

Harvest Moon: One World

Harvest Moon: One World, when it releases, takes place in a world without crops such as strawberries, cabbages, and carrots. Luckily, the Harvest Goddess imbued Harvest Wisps with the knowledge of various seeds, and it is up to the player to re-discover them in an adventure spanning multiple regions.

Fans of the Harvest Moon series should be familiar with its tasks such as tending to a farm, raising animals, befriending locals, and even marriage, but Harvest Moon: One World features the inclusion of exotic animals such as reindeer or camels, and the return of activities like festivals and fishing. It also features a brand-new engine and graphics, which will make it a great starting point for newcomers to the series.

Collector's Edition Exclusives

Harvest Moon One World Collectors Edition

Bundled together with the game are two exclusive collector's items: a magnetic musical diorama set and a cute chicken plush. The magnetic musical diorama set features five characters: the main male Harvest Moon character, main female character, sheep, chicken, and cow. They can be placed interchangeably on top of the battery-powered diorama, while the outer ring of the diorama will rotate once powered on. The diorama will also play "Spring on the Beach," an original song from Harvest Moon: One World.

The Collector's Edition of Harvest Moon: One World also includes a cute chicken plush. Modelled directly after the chickens from the game, the plush includes all the details like the ruffled feathers and comes in the dimensions of 5" length, 4" width, and 5" height. The PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the Collector's Edition are available on Limited Run Games for $99.99 USD.

Players looking for a cheaper option can opt for the Limited Edition of Harvest Moon: One World instead. Available on NIS American for $79.99 USD, the Limited Edition includes a special box, CD Soundtrack, cloth poster, and a set of lapel pins. The lapel pins feature six different animals: a cat, dog, horse, goat, bear, and chicken.

Harvest Moon: One World should not be confused with the Story of Seasons series. In 2014, the original Harvest Moon games were rebranded as Story of Seasons, and Natsume continued to develop new games under the Harvest Moon title. For a few years now, Natsume has been developing and evolving its own take on the farming simulator genre. Fans of the older Harvest Moon games will see that Harvest Moon: One World looks and plays much differently than what they're used to. Nonetheless, Harvest Moon: One World offers an exciting new adventure that veterans and newcomers alike should enjoy.

Harvest Moon: One World will be released on March 2, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch and PS4
