Pop sensation Harry Styles will return to the MCU following a new five-movie contract with Marvel, according to a report from The Sun. The singer was confirmed to return for another film following Kevin Feige's interview with MTV News during San Diego Comic-Con, but no further details were provided.

Styles, who made his first appearance during the end credit scene of Eternals, plays the Eternal Eros, a.k.a Starfox, who is also the brother of previous Marvel villain Thanos. Marvel kept Styles' appearance a secret for months, yet many fans of the artist had their suspicions prior to the film's release. Now, his fans and MCU fans alike are anxiously waiting to see what becomes of his character.

"Harry was in Marvel's sights for the last 18 months," an LA film consultant told The Sun. "Not only is he the biggest pop star of the moment, his star is so huge it transcends just film and music. Harry has the Midas touch and will be a huge deal, bringing in different demographics and showing older comic book fans his talent." After his cameo in Eternals was revealed, many fans of the singer flocked to theaters and Disney Plus to see the star make his MCU debut. While the singer is no stranger to the acting world, many of Styles' loyal fans are avid Marvel viewers, and were beyond excited to see him join the universe.

"For Harry and his handlers, it was all about whether the project and the feel of the movie [were] right," a consultant said. "Following several secret calls and discussions, the deal has been struck. And the surprise is that their deals pave the way for Harry to do as many as five projects for Marvel, which could see him as Starfox for 15 years. Feige and his team are delighted with the development." Styles made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, where he played Alex, a solider in WWII stranded on the beach. Following his performance, Eternals director Chloé Zhao said she had her eyes on him for the film, but needed to find where he would fit in best.

Outside of his recent commitment to Marvel, Styles is set to appear in two upcoming films this year. Don't Worry Darling, a horror film directed by Olivia Wilde, stars the artist alongside Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, and the director herself. The thriller is set to release September 23. His second film, My Policeman, is a film based on the popular LGBTQ+ novel written by Bethan Roberts. Directed by Michael Grandage, the film will release on Prime Video October 21.

Eternals is now streaming on Disney Plus.
