Unlike Pokemon GO, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite offers players the chance to spec into particular classes. There are three roles to fill and the game calls them Professions. Unlike many RPGs, this mobile AR game actually allows players to switch from Profession to Profession fairly easily, but many players who have spent time increasing skills with their initial job are a little worried about what actually happens after a switch. Not to worry, we've done the research and can explain.

Whether Wizards Unite players select Auror, Professor, or Magizoologist after unlocking the Professions feature; they can revisit the Professions tab and click Switch at any time. The two big questions that many players have about this feature are: What happens to the skills I've acquired on my first professions? Can I switch back to my first Profession (or the third Profession)?

Luckily, this all works exactly how players would hope it does. No progress made on prior Professions goes away at all. All skills stay exactly where they were before the switch. And, yes, players are able to switch back and forth between all three Professions freely as many times as they would like.

In terms of strategy, leveling up multiple Professions is actually a very good idea for players who do not have a consistent group of friends for taking down Fortresses. Working through the more difficult levels of a Fortress is easiest with a variety of Professions on-hand, so it's very useful to be a flexible player who is able to switch between Professions depending on who else showed up to battle.

As the game grows and matures, it will be very interesting to find out if the current skill trees grow or expand or if additional Professions are eventually added. For now, most players should be able to stay busy trying to rank up to max level and unlock all the current skills.
