Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is a free-to-play augmented reality mobile game, and like most free-to-play titles on the market, it has some restrictions that can limit the number of actions players can take at any given time. In Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, these restrictions come in the form of spell energy, as players only have 75 spell energy at their disposal in the beginning stages of the game.

Spell energy in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is used to complete most major actions in the game. For example, spell energy is spent as players cast spells collecting Foundables and fighting enemies. Once players run out of spell energy, they have to collect more if they want to keep playing the game in any meaningful way.

So far, there are two main ways to get more spell energy in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite that have been discovered. Here's what players need to do to get more spell energy in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

1. Visit An Inn

The best way to get spell energy in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is to go to an inn. Inns in the game are similar to PokeStops in Pokemon GO, though they are a bit more involved. Upon visiting an inn, players will have to complete a spell mini-game, and if they are successful, they will get some spell energy for their troubles.

But like PokeStops in Pokemon GO, inns in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite run on a cooldown timer, so players can't just spam the same inn repeatedly to get more spell energy. Unfortunately, they will need to wait at least five minutes before interacting with the same inn again.

2. Buy Spell Energy Using Coins

The other option players have when it comes to getting spell energy in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is to buy some at the in-game store using coins. Players can purchase coins using real money, or they can get coins through gameplay, though that's the far less efficient method. At the time of this writing, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players can purchase 50 spell energy for 100 coins.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
