As the final weeks of the September calendar arrive, there are just a few more events for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players to race through before October arrives and inevitably brings in some spooky festivities. This weekend witches and wizards will have another Community Day to enjoy before next week’s events fire off.
The September 2021 Community Day activities in Harry Potter Wizards Unite move the focus away from Hogwarts and towards the states with a New York themed event. There are going to be a lot of exciting Foundables up for grabs once again and players can expect some interesting rewards as well if they manage to complete the day's tasks.
The event task rewards will include Potions, Spell Books, Ingredients, and DADA Books. That should provide plenty of motivation to login and power through the short list of challenges while the Community Day event is active.
This weekend's Community Day in the mobile AR game begins on Saturday, September 18, 2021 and runs from 12:01am to 11:59pm local time around the globe. As usual, players will have the full day to enjoy the event's bonuses and complete the limited time activities to earn some powerful rewards along the way.
The event will feature a list of exclusive tasks and rewards that offer a nice collection of completion rewards for players who manage to work through the full list. The tasks aren't particularly challenging this time around and players who are willing to log in as the event kicks off and spend a few hours in the game completing fairly normal activities during the course of the event window shouldn't have any major problems reaching the end and unlocking those DADA books and the other rewards.

Event Effects and Bonuses

- Special 1km Portkeys that award Magizoology Family XP and the Thunderbird.
- Increased sightings of the Unicorn, Occamy Eggs, Demiguise, Pickett and Newt Scamander.
- Guaranteed Occamy Fragment after winning a Wizarding Challenge in Forest IV and higher when using a Magizoology Runestone.
- Increased Wizarding XP, Challenge XP, and Spell Energy rewards while doing Wizarding Challenges.
- Reduced brewing time for Tonic for Trace Detection. It will take only 1 hour to brew. Master Notes will reduce it by another 50%.
Those details should cover just about everything that players need to know to get ready for the big event before the weekend arrives. Community Day events usually end up being some of the most popular in-game festivities each month, thanks to the powerful bonuses and casual gamer friendly features, so there's no reason to suspect this one would be any different.
