With October now underway, Harry Potter Wizards Unite players are already being greeted with a new barrage of events in the wizarding mobile AR experience. The first spotlight event is already about to come to a close tomorrow, so players won’t want to waste any time checking out what is coming up next in the game.
The October 2021 Harry Potter Wizards Unite events will follow what has become the new expected pattern and get things started with a short event followed up by the second half of last month’s brilliant event. Beyond that, there are a lot of other events for witches and wizards to get excited about, as well. October is going to include a Community Day, another 1920s Convergence Event, and the first half of another Brilliant Event focused on Burning Day.
As always, specific details around what to expect from some of the new events are still unclear, so be sure to check back for each full event guide in the very near future once the activities are live. Many of the events will likely feature the usual long list of tasks and rewards to complete for special in-game prizes, so fans should keep an eye out for all of those details to emerge in the days leading up to each of the game's events…
Harry, Hermione, and Constance decide to prioritise ending the Calamity in an effort to cut off The Unforgivable's resources. Working off of Gareth Greengrass' theory that only Grim Fawley himself can end the Calamity, the team decides to devote themselves to finding the missing wizard and his equally missing wife, Penelope. But does the secretive Grim even want to be found? … Later, as The Unforgivable unleash their most lethal threat yet, Hermione attempts to uncover the true identity of “Theus,” The Unforgivable’s mysterious leader. What will the clues Gareth left behind and Hermione’s own research reveal?

As always, it’s possible that surprise events will appear as the month progresses, especially with fall approaching and Niantic's habit of taking advantage of the spooky season for Harry Potter events (much like the upcoming Pokemon GO Halloween activities).
