July is here and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players can start planning at least the first half of their monthly activities. A new month means new Adversaries, a new Community Day, and (this time) a new and exciting weeklong Dragon-themed event to dive into.
First off, players should concentrate on finishing the ongoing Gilderoy Adversaries event that started during June and runs until late this morning. Once that is out the way though, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players can look forward to something a little different with the Dragonologists Delights event starting tomorrow.
Exact details around what to expect from the Dragonologists Delight are still a little vague, so be sure to check back for a full event guide in the very near future once the activities are live. Beyond that special event, it's a little hard to tell how much July will follow the standard Wizards Unite monthly event rotation. There is definitely a Community Day and at least one Adversaries event, but the rest of the calendar is still a mystery.
Gilderoy Lockhart’s Adventures Adversaries Event

Adversaries resembling Gilderoy Lockhart are on the attack! Bring this dangerous situation under control and get a glimpse into The Unforgivable’s reasons for unleashing Adversaries.
Dragonologists’ Delight

Look to the skies as you combat a surge of dragon Oddities and return dragon egg Fragments from Portkey Portmanteaus. Plus, look out for an additional SOS Task Force challenge.

Strategically complete Wizarding Challenges to collect bonus Fragments, bonus Wizarding XP, bonus Challenge XP and Spell Energy.

Additional July 2021 Events
Wizards Unite will definitely feature more events after July 21, but the rest of the calendar is going to remain a mystery a little bit longer. Niantic should provide an update on what else is scheduled in the very near future, so be sure to check back here for updates in the coming days. It will be quite interesting to see if two Brilliant Events and two additional Adversaries events end up getting added to the calendar, as well.
There is always the chance that additional surprise events will appear as the month progresses, especially with summer approaching and Niantic's habit of taking advantage of the warmer weather patterns. Dedicated players will want to log in daily to check in and see if anything exciting is happening.
