Harry Potter: Wizards Unite fans are in the middle an action-packed summer that is full of new features and tons of events. The Knight Bus and the S.O.S. training have added some entirely new aspects to the mobile AR game that make both day-to-day play and events a lot more thrilling. Although life has returned to a new normal in many states and countries, the mobile AR experience is still optimizing its monthly events for remote play to allow players to participate in a way that makes them feel safe if necessary. That is the case once again with the extended, all-day long August Community day that is right around the corner.
Now that the next Community Day is right around the corner, witches and wizards are able to start making their plans for the August 8 event. Whether they are playing from home or heading back out into the outdoors, there will be plenty to keep them busy, including a list of special Tasks and Rewards available during the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite event.
The tasks and events this time around will look very familiar to anyone who participated in the May Community Day event a few months back. The tiered tasks and rewards are all focused around battling up through the different Fortress levels. Players will either want to visit a nearby Fortress or plan to use the Knight Bus throughout the course of the event (one of the most iconic Harry Potter world transportation devices to make its way to the mobile AR game).

That should be everything players need to know to dive into the August Community Day event when it rolls around next weekend. Like the last few versions of the monthly celebration, the August event will be taking place over the course of a full day, so there isn't as much of a need to rush out and complete everything within a three hour window of time. This should make it much easier to still complete all of the featured tasks for players who are still social distancing and avoiding crowded city or campus areas where play is often most popular. Be sure to keep a close eye on the clock and take full advantage of all the bonuses and features before time is up!
