It's been almost a year since Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery launched its Year 5 update, and now the game has finally entered Year 6. Year 5 in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery was a lengthy adventure indeed, and while we don't know if Year 6 will be quite as long, we do know what fans can expect from it.

The Year 6 update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now, and it features some new content for Hogwarts students to enjoy. One of the most notable additions is the debut of the Weasley twins, Fred and George. Members of the Weasley family have played a prominent role in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery since the game's early days, but the twins' involvement in the events of Harry Potter itself make them two of the most major characters added so far.

Another character from the main Harry Potter series will be appearing in Hogwarts Mystery Year 6 in the form of Professor Trelawney. Professor Trelawney is the Divinations professor at Hogwarts, and as such, she will be teaching the Divinations class that players will be attending throughout Year 6.

To celebrate the launch of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Year 6, Jam City has released a new trailer for the game highlighting some of its biggest moments so far. The trailer shows players creating their character, as well as tackling the mystery of the Cursed Vaults. This includes the Cursed Vault where players fought boggarts pretending to be Lord Voldemort.

Moving forward, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players will be able to tackle even more Cursed Vaults, befriend new characters, learn new spells and more as part of Year 6. As for what's after Year 6, that remains to be seen. Wizarding World students only attend Hogwarts for seven years, and it remains to be seen how Jam City may possibly continue Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery once Year 7 ends.

Of course, with Year 5 lasting nearly a year, it's hard to say when Year 7 will come around. It could be another couple of years before the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery story wraps up, and it will be interesting to see how the game continues to evolve in the meantime.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
