These past couple of weeks have been slow for fans of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Two weeks ago, there was a false start with a Magical Beasts-themed limited-time side quest, and then this past week, the game started its Christmas event instead of adding new story content. Now fans of the mobile game finally have some new story chapters to go through, with Chapters 11 and 12 added as of the latest update.

After downloading the latest update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Hogwarts students will finally be able to continue their Year 5 adventures. Chapter 11 starts off with players encountering Mundungus Flecher, a character from the books, which should help to make things a bit more interesting than usual.

Chapter 11 also features a couple of new classes for players to complete as well. There is the Switch: Piggy Bank & Guinea Pig lesson in Transfigurations, as well as the Goblin Rebellion of 1612 that players will learn about in their Magical History lesson. Chapter 12 is sure to add more classes and story chapters for players to complete, but we haven't gotten far enough to verify what exactly they are just yet.

The Year 5 Chapters 11 and 12 update isn't the only thing happening in the world of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery right now. The game is also in the midst of yet another House Pride event, with this one letting players unlock an ugly Christmas sweater in addition to the usual coins and notebooks that they can get as prizes. However, this time the House Pride event has been tweaked a bit, and it will be interesting to see how fans of the game respond to the change.

This time around, players have to earn a minimum of 20 house points to even join their House Pride team. In theory, this should cut down on players getting stuck with team members who aren't even actively playing Hogwarts Mystery or attempting to get house points. Whether or not this is successful remains to be seen, however.

In the meantime, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery fans should have plenty of content to keep themselves busy until next week's inevitable update.
