Jam City may have skipped a week when it comes to adding new story content to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, but the studio made it up to fans by adding two story chapters with the latest update. Now that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players are getting through Year 4 Chapter 15, many have discovered that Year 4 Chapter 16 is also available.

Year 4 Chapter 16 is one of the most important chapters in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery because it features the climax to the story that the game has been telling since starting Year 4. It features seven different parts to the story, though players should be warned that they will have to deal with some pretty sizable wait times to get to some of the content. In fact, at least two tasks have eight hour wait times for players who don't want to spend gems speeding up the timer.

Besides the story developments, Year 4 Chapter 16 in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery also adds the final Year 4 classes for players to complete. The classes include learning the Colloportus charm, as well as learning how to make the Skele-Gro potion. Both classes require a whopping nine stars to unlock the lesson proper, so it may take some time for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players to actually finish Year 4 Chapter 16.

In the meantime, one has to wonder if Year 4 Chapter 17, the final chapter of Year 4, will release next week or if Jam City will delay it since two story chapters came out this past Thursday. The last time Jam City released two story chapters, it skipped the following week, but hopefully Hogwarts Mystery enthusiasts don't have to wait too long to see what happens next.

Typically, the final chapter in any given year in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is reserved for the end-year ceremonies where players have the chance to win the House Cup and then proceed to their next year at Hogwarts. We know that Year 5 will have new classes for players to complete, such as Defense Against the Dark Arts, and if recent datamining efforts are to be believed, it will also feature a side quest that tasks players with becoming an Animagus - someone that can transform into an animal.

Whether or not the Animagus side quest actually appears in Year 5 remains to be seen. After all, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players are still waiting for some other promised content to make its way to the game, like romance options, so perhaps Jam City will prioritize that over other features.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
