Keeping to the pattern its established over the past few weeks, developer Jam City added more story content to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery on Thursday. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players can now see what Chapter 10 of Year 4 has to offer, as they continue the march to the end of the current school year in the game.

In Year 4 Chapter 10, players will be heading to the Forbidden Forest with Madame Rakepick's niffler to search for a missing arrowhead that will in turn get them closer to accessing the next Cursed Vault. However, Year 4 Chapter 10 also brings with it some new classes to complete, including a Charms lesson that will teach players Scourgify, and a Transfigurations lesson that will teach them the spell Orchideous.

By earning nine stars and completing the subsequent Scourgify lesson, players will gain five gems. Similarly, completing the Orchideous lesson will also earn them five gems, which can then be spent on anything from cosmetic items to adopting pets to purchasing more energy. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as though the new update adds any new ways to get free gems beyond the lessons, though.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery special rewards tease

Year 4 Chapter 10 will bring players much closer to completing this year entirely, with only six more chapters left after it's completed. And with players so deep into Year 4 Chapter 10 at this point, some may be wondering why Hogwarts Mystery still doesn't have romance options. After all, Ravenclaw student Andre Egwu teased in Year 3 that Hogwarts students typically start dating in Year 4, yet there are still no romance options in the game at the time of this writing.

With more chapters yet to be added to Year 4, it's possible that romance options will still make their way into the game within the next few weeks. However, Jam City has remained quiet on the matter, and it's possible that the romance options won't be added until later on, if at all. Ultimately, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players will just have to wait for Jam City to be ready to share more information on when romance options will be added to the game and how exactly romance will work.
