Jam City mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery already offers a reasonable amount of content for players to enjoy, including story missions, with spells and potions to learn and friend encounters activities (e.g. Gobstones). But Jam City has also been exploring new ways to add to this pool of things to do, dabbling in limited time questions that offer players exclusive loot.

The latest limited time quest to arrive in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is called Pyjama Party and it adds several pieces of sleepover themed unlocks for players to collect. With the Pyjama Party quest, players are given seven days to fill up a progress bar with stars which are collected by receiving the full amount of stars from lessons they take part in.

Players will receive 1,000 coins At seven stars, players receive 10 gems at 20 stars, they receive a pajama shirt in their house colors at 35 stars , they receive 15 gems at 55 stars , and players receive a pair of pajama pants and some cuddly slippers to match that PJ shirt at 75 stars. While the pajamas look suitably cozy, the gems will come in handy for those trying to earn enough to unlock the game's new pets.

This latest limited time quest gives players a lot more time than the last limited time quest. Too Cool For School gave Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players just a few days to earn stars and collect loot, which included house-themed sweatshirts, trousers, and sunglasses. Those who found the time constraints too strict will certainly appreciate the additional time for completion.

Though with that said, the same tips for completing limited time quests still applies. That is to say, one-hour lesson time slots are far more efficient when it comes to earning stars than their eight-hour counterparts. It's also important to remind players that pets now offer free energy and watching ads allows players to get additional energy too. So, this will all contribute to making the Pyjama Party quest easier to complete.

Not everyone will be a fan of these limited time quests as they will want to complete missions at their own pace without a timer. But others welcome these quests with open arms, as it gives them something to do while Jam City works on adding more substantial story-related content. Many Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players have already blitzed through the Year 4 gameplay content that was added recently, and so these limited time quests provide a small stopgap until those story missions continue.
