A few weeks ago, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery added the Duelling Club PvP mode, to a mixed reception. Some fans enjoyed the opportunity to fight against other players and duel outside of story events, but others were frustrated with the Duelling Club's strict ticket system. However, the latest iteration of Duelling Club appears to alleviate issues fans have had with the mode in the past.

The new version of Duelling Club in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is apparently only going to be around for the next couple of days, but it introduces a smart change to make the experience less frustrating. Previously, Hogwarts Mystery players were given three tickets to play Duelling Club, and once they lost three times, they would be out of tickets and were locked out of the mode. The only way to get more tickets was to purchase them with gems, which are Hogwarts Mystery's in-game currency, and are generally hard to come by.

With the new version of Duelling Club, tickets will now regenerate every three hours. This means that players who lose three times should be able to keep playing without having to break out their wallets to purchase more gems.

Like past weeks, Duelling Club has various rewards players can earn for their efforts. This week's rewards require players to get up to 20 wins total to win everything, whereas past weeks only required 10 wins. Players can find a full list of Duelling Club rewards right here:

  • 500 coins (5 wins)
  • 1,000 coins (10 wins)
  • 10 energy (15 wins)
  • New outfit (20 wins)

So while Jam City has made it so Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players can participate in the Duelling Club even if they lose all their tickets, the rewards seem lesser and the win requirement has been increased. While some fans may be disappointed by this, others may still think it's an improvement from how Duelling Club worked before.
