Hanna will be returning to Amazon Prime for its second season on air, but this time the titular assassin will be featuring some new moves. Showrunners claimed that they wanted to develop a fighting style that was unique to her, and they've done so with the help of Game of Thrones stuntman Marcus Shakesheff.

Shakesheff and his team have opted to go for a Krav Maga type of martial arts, but have modified it some in order to make it more personalized to Hanna herself. This was done in hopes of making the fight scenes seem more realistic and brutal than they did in the first season.

Krav Maga is an interesting form of martial arts, as it focuses mainly on self defense through extremely effective methods. Essentially, this method takes the best aspects of other martial arts styles like boxing, judo, and karate, and combines them into a very practical style.

Many real life militaries use this style when training in close quarters combat, so it makes sense that a well trained assassin like Hanna would make use of something similar to it as well. It will be interesting to see just how much this spices up the show's already enjoyable fight scenes, though.

Hanna season 2 premieres July 7th on Amazon Prime.
