Yesterday, Microsoft and 343 Industries revealed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is on its way to the PC. Now, some fans who were excited about the reveal went above and beyond by flooding the 343 office in Kirkland, Washington with boxes of pizza.

This all started when a Redditor by the name of "thewombinthesky" promised to buy the studio a box of pizza if the then rumor about the PC port of the Master Chief Collection turned out to be true. Following yesterday's reveal of the compendium's PC port on in an Inside Xbox live stream episode, thewombinthesky, together with several fans of the game kept their promise and treated the team at 343 Industries.

Naturally, the people at 343 Industries were thankful for all the free food that they have been receiving. However, people at the studio started to worry when the boxes of pizza kept coming, which prompted 343's Community Manager Brian Jarrad to send out a tweet asking fans politely to stop sending pizza at their office.

As it turns out, the receptionist at 343 was not in the office at the time, and it became "logistically challenging" to receive all the boxes of pizza. The developers also started to worry about the possibility of wasted food given that there is more pizza than people to eat it.

Given that fans were requesting for a PC port of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for quite some time now, it is not surprising that they would want to let the developers know how excited they are on the upcoming game. The PC port of the collection is a remastered package of multiple games that includes, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3Halo 4, and Halo: Reach. As for what's next in the Halo franchise, rumors began a couple of weeks ago that Halo Infinite will be the launch title for the next generation Xbox, which is also rumored to be announced at this year's E3.

Luckily, it seems that players won't have to wait too long to learn about the next Halo game, as 343 Industries confirmed that more details on Halo Infinite will be revealed at E3 2019. While the studio may or may not reveal whether Infinite will release on the next generation Xbox, players can rest easy that important features such as gameplay and a proper unveiling of its expanded RPG elements will be showcased at the event.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now on Xbox One and will be coming to PC later this year.
