In a crossover no one really saw coming, fine crystal makers Swarovski are releasing a limited set inspired by the Halo series. Inspired by Halo Infinite, the crystals are a mix of luxury and gaming. It seems these crystals aren't just for the most decadent gamers though, as they will be offered in a charity raffle later this month.

The Swarovski x Halo Infinite was given a hefty, poetic introduction by Swarovski on the company's website. "Heroism and wonder collide," the makers of fine crystal said. "Twenty years after the dawn of one of gaming's most iconic franchises, Halo is poised to ignite quests of imagination once again." A few images were released as well, one of Master Chief's iconic helmet, which is made of a combination of white crystal and a gold-hued visor. As if that wasn't enough luxury, Swarovski also confirmed the set will come with the energy sword wielded by Covenant elites and most famously, the Arbiter, who has so far been absent from Halo Infinite.

The $2000 dollar price point of the limited edition jewel set was enough to put many gamers off. Yet, not all hope is lost for those who want to get their hands on the jewels. Twenty of the sets will be available as part of a charity campaign for Gamers Outreach, which can either be entered online for $10, or for free by mailing your contact info and address to the StockX campaign. Many gaming exclusive items are now being given away as part of an event rather than being sold, as the latter increases the risk of scalpers taking over the market, as seen when the Halo Infinite exclusive Xbox Series X hit shelves.

Swarovski's first foray into the gaming world was in gaming chairs. More specifically, Swarovski crystals could be found embedded into the Vertagear PL4500. Gaming chairs have been truly pushing the boat out lately, convincing many to buy the iconic racer-style chairs at the sacrifice of any logical lumbar support. Razer released a concept for a gaming chair that would transform into a gaming cockpit with a 60 inch retractable display and 4D arm rests. While the Swarovski chair isn't as flashy as some had hoped, it has a rather understated style with crystals embedded into the back and seat of the chair.

Halo Infinite is also a title familiar with crossovers and giveaway events. Most recently, CPU and GPU manufacturer AMD teamed up with Halo: Infinite to create a custom themed Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition graphics card. The card featured design influences from Master Chief's signature green armour, and blue highlights, signifying the series' second most famous character, Cortana. The AMD and Halo Infinite crossover card was not available to purchase and instead people could get their hands on the graphics card via giveaways.
