The official Xbox Twitter account today teased the possible arrival of Halo: The Master Chief Collection to its subscription-based Xbox Game Pass. The service, which currently costs users $9.99 per month, already features popular AAA titles including Sea of Thieves, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Gears of War 4, but it looks as though it won't be long before 343 Industries' effort becomes part of the selection as well.

The Xbox Twitter account teased Halo: The Master Chief Collection's arrival on Game Pass through a brief new ad that shows Xbox titles being grabbed as part of a drive-thru service. With the request to "Just say when," it's clear that the ad is more or less a confirmation that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to Game Pass at some point in the future.

Although no date for its Game Pass arrival has been set as of yet, there is a good chance that it could be the foremost title in the next set of releases in May. It will join other games in the Halo series which are already a part of the Xbox Game Pass service such as Halo: Spartan Assault, Halo 5: Guardians, and Halo Wars 2. Currently there are 182 titles available via the Game Pass subscription from both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, with more being added every month. Microsoft also continues to increase the number of games available via backwards compatibility, including original Xbox games.

Xbox Game Pass has been criticized in the past for a lack of quality in its offerings but as the console moves into its fifth year it is only natural that more high quality titles enter the fray. Alongside Halo a number of new games have also been confirmed as future Game Pass titles including the survival-horror game State of Decay 2, which will be available on the service from the day of launch.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now for Xbox One.
