Halo: The Master Chief Collection continues to receive support and content from 343 Industries years after its release. The collection has various features for players to use alongside the original Halo trilogy, and that includes the Halo Insider "flighting" development program. Halo: The Master Chief Collection recently launched its fifth season, Anvil, and 343 Industries is already preparing more content.

Recently, 343 Industries announced it is releasing the next public flight for Halo Insiders to test out Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This information comes from the latest development update, which revealed it will be adding various new features for Insiders to test out. Some of the new features include FOV slider support on all Xbox One consoles, and the FOV slider will be unlocked for the Xbox Series X/S. The public flight will also be testing mouse-and-keyboard support for consoles.

Console players all around might be able to use mouse-and-keyboard options while playing the Halo: The Master Chief Collection sometime soon based on this. The public flight will also include double keybindings, advance audio options, and view model customization options. On top of that there will be a new Halo 3 map from the canceled Halo Online, and the Custom Game Browser feature that adds a new way for players to engage with others in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The developer said that if all these changes go smoothly, Halo Insiders can expect the next public flight to be released Thursday, February 18. The developer recommended that members update their Halo Insider profile before the next public flight arrives. That said, 343 Industries adds that some of the features in the next public flight may be subject to change before it's officially released, so Insiders might need to keep an eye on what does and doesn't make it in.

With all of the new features being added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, players could have more options when playing any of its games. The developer is certainly trying to keep players engaged with Halo content by heightening their gameplay experience in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. One of 343 Industries' goals has been to maintain player engagement with the Halo community, and the frequent public flights could help with that.

When the public flight is released, Halo Insiders will be able to experience the new features for themselves and provide their feedback. While 343 Industries is continuing development on the upcoming Halo Infinite, Insiders can help with the development of other Halo content.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
