There are six collectibles in the Tower in Halo Infinite, and while many of them are quite easy to find, that is not the case with absolutely all of them. Case in point: the Skull that is at the Tower can prove to be quite difficult to track down, as it is in a spot that is not immediately accessible. For those players that are currently struggling to collect the Tower Skull in Halo Infinite, this guide details two different ways to reach it.

Halo Infinite: The Tower Skull Location

Halo Infinite players that are on the hunt for the Tower Skull should turn their attention to the top of the structure. Indeed, this collectible is sitting on a crate on the Tower’s roof, and there are two different options that fans can use to claim it. Here are details on those two options, and players will need to decide for themselves which one they wish to pursue:

Banshee or Wasp

The easiest way to reach the roof of the Tower is to simply fly to it using either a Banshee or Wasp. This may not be something that players can do immediately, though, as they will first need to gain access to one of these flying vehicles. For those fans that wish to use a Banshee to nab this Tower collectible in Halo Infinite, those crafts can be found in the Reformation area after completing the Pelican Down mission, while the Wasp is unlocked as a FOB reward.

Grappleshot with Quickshot Upgrade

It is also possible to scale the exterior of the Tower after using some of Halo Infinite’s Spartan Cores to unlock the Quickshot upgrade for the Grappleshot. Indeed, reducing the cooldown of the Grappleshot allows for some fancy maneuvers to be performed near the top of the Tower’s exterior, which players can reach by climbing up one of the diagonal supports that extend from the ground. The following video demonstrates exactly how to use Quickshot to access the Tower Skull.

Halo Infinite: What is the Tower Skull

This Skull in Halo Infinite is dubbed “IWHBYD,” which stands for “I Would Have Been Your Daddy.” When activated, the modifier makes rare combat dialogue more common, which means that it does not have a major impact on the core gameplay mechanics. As such, players that are not going for 100% completion should not feel too bad about skipping this collectible if they do not want to put time toward climbing the Tower.

Halo Infinite is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
