Like many other competitive video games or even competitive contests in general, Halo Infinite is all about making big plays and playing consistently. Being able to play at a high level consistently lends itself to making big plays, and in Halo Infinite big plays typically lead to awesome clips.

Many Halo Infinite clips of big plays can be found on Reddit, but one of these clips was a true testament to the player's accuracy and strategy, showcasing a series of incredible kills utilizing the Skewer weapon. The series of kills lead to an incredible comeback, winning the player's team the round.

The player, Reddit user KaelenTrudel, posted the clip with a title letting players know their team eventually won the match. This was surely in no small part due to KaelenTrudel's incredible play in the 2nd round.

The clip starts with KaelenTrudel facing off against a sniper on the Behemoth map. The Halo Infinite game mode in the clip is Attrition and both teams are down to their last lives as evidenced by the Danger Zone, a shrinking red zone comparable to battle royale zones that close in as the match progresses. KaelenTrudel is stuck in the danger zone, but performs an amazing scoped jumping kill to eliminate the sniper. He then makes a mad dash for the center of the map to avoid damage and picks up a long-range no-scope kill on an enemy. The last and most impressive kill comes on an enemy who was directly beneath KaelenTrudel's feet. To secure the kill, KaelenTrudel simply jumps to his death, no-scoping the enemy on the way down and securing the round win.

The clip was impressive from start to finish, and Reddit users congratulated KaelenTrudel on their skills. One user reminisced on the days of 360 no-scope Call of Duty montages, stating that this clip reminded them of trick shots from the game. Another user joked that they do not trust anyone who can use the Skewer so well; understandable considering the weapon is a one-shot killer. Yet another did note that the clip looked a little laggy; KaelenTrudel explained that Halo Infinite clips in theater mode tend to come out that way for some reason.

As the game continues to grow, so too does the player base and skill level of those playing, leading to tons of clips showing of skills such as a Halo Infinite player killing with a threat sensor. This latest clip from KaelenTrudel is certainly no exception, as the series of kills they pulled off, especially the round-winning jump to death, was strategic and inspired. With a ton of Halo Infinite clips already flooding the internet, players can expect more of these skillful clips in the future.

Halo Infinite is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
