Halo Infinite's customization has received a lot of feedback recently, particularly regarding the game's balance between free and paid cosmetics. Now, a fan has leaked what's believed to be all of Halo Infinite's Season 1 paid cosmetics and to get all of it may set players back $1,000.

In the week since Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Beta has been available, the general consensus is that for as great as the game plays, its external systems—its progression system and Spartan customization—are holding it back. 343 Industries has already started addressing the former issue, with updates arriving that increase the rate that players earn XP towards their battle passes. As for the latter problem, that remains a work-in-progress, with fans complaining over the lack of free Spartan armor pieces in the game, especially now that it appears there are no armor unlocks from Halo Infinite's campaign.

Reddit user ReedHay19 has datamined Halo Infinite to reveal all of Season 1's paid content, with its total value being estimated at around $1,000. ReedHay19's post is a simple image showcasing a grid of 91 different cosmetic items, including armor sets, icons, weapon skins, and more. The estimated total comes from Fraser Gilbert at Pure Xbox who writes, "The $1000 figure is just an estimate and 343 Industries has yet to confirm all of its plans for Season 1 paid content." Fans are asking 343 Industries to rework Halo Infinite's armor customization system, with some even creating their own designs of how they think it should work.

While the grid in ReedHay19's post does not include item names or descriptions, there are some peculiarities. For starters, the samurai-inspired armor featured in Halo Infinite's Fracture: Tenrai event has multiple instances in the post, with some occurrences looking like different armor coatings, among other cosmetics. However, they may also simply be fully purchaseable Yorai Armor Cores, as the visors in each of the listings are different. The peculiarity of this development is the fact that the Yorai armor is freely attainable by playing in the Tenrai event, and yet these extra options (whatever they may be) are not included in it.

Although no prices are listed on ReedHay19's post either, some of the included items have already appeared in the Halo Infinite Item Shop, which can be used to determine a general estimate for the entire lot. Weapon skins and player emblems are generally $5 in Halo Infinite's Credits currency with the more elaborate armor offerings being upwards of $20; at this rate, simply acquiring just the Item Shop specific armor can set players back hundreds of dollars. 343 Industries has shown initiative in changing systems at the request of fans, so fingers crossed an overhaul of the armor system is in the works too.

Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Beta is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the full game releasing on December 8.
