In today's climate many new FPS games have been swarmed by hackers and cheaters before they have even been fully released and it is seemingly becoming quite a large issue. 343 Industries, however, has come up with an intuitive solution to solve this problem for its upcoming release Halo: Infinite.

343 Industries has advertised a position at its company that will focus nearly entirely on player safety and security as a means to end the current onslaught of cheating in online games. The advertisement for the job states that the employee will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day management of player behavior reports, investigations, content moderation and, enforcement for Halo games. The position will most likely require the candidate to focus nearly solely on Halo: Infinite considering that the title is planned to release in less than two months. This decision to create the position was likely made to set players minds at ease. Luckily, the Halo Infinite beta was well received as well which means that 343 Industries is very much in the good books of fans at the minute.

343 Industries has most likely emphasized player safety as other recent FPS titles have struggled with hackers and cheaters. This not only angers players but also ruins the online experience for all involved. This is most likely why the employment position focuses so intently on the safety of Halo Infinite players. Responsibilities for the position include crafting policies that can be operationalized while ensuring customer safety and developing and maintaining clear safety boundaries including disciplinary action, exception reporting, and processes that align with the Xbox community standards.

An applicant for the position must basically be willing to dedicate all of their working hours towards making sure the game is being played fairly which sounds interesting but is more than likely quite an arduous task. Players and fans can only hope that 343 Industries take the same amount of care in releasing Halo Infinite in a finished state.

343 Industries are able to give Halo: Infinite players an experience that is nearly entirely devoid of cheaters it will be an incredibly intuitive move on their part. It could once again place them as the kings of the hill when it comes to console FPS games and would likely push other studios like EA DICE's Battlefield 2042 to beef up its player safety and security or end up getting left in the wake of one of Xbox's premier franchises.

Halo Infinite releases December 8 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
