As more and more of the press get their hands-on time with the opening hours of Halo Infinite, the dangers of spoilers leaking online becomes more prevalent. Just recently, have started to notice that the opening cutscene of Halo Infinite's campaign has leaked online, with the footage viewable on sites such as Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube. As such, staying away or at being least cautious when visiting these sites is highly advisable.

Halo Infinite is one of the biggest releases of the year, and it is quickly approaching its December 8 release date. As such, preview embargos have lifted and the press has been given access to the game's first 4 missions courtesy of Microsoft and 343 Industries. While it is exciting that the campaign previews have been overwhelmingly positive, this early gameplay comes with added spoiler danger. 343 Industries has apparently labeled parts of the press' preview embargoes as "no spoilers" to ensure those who do video capture of the gameplay stray from ruining the experience for eager fans.

Unfortunately, some who have the privilege of access to the preview gameplay appear to want to bypass 343 Industries' suggestions. A video found by Pure Xbox appears to come from a German streamer, with the box where the streamer's face would be masked by a car spoiler, obviously hinting at the content of the video. Upon viewing of the video, nothing totally major seems to have been leaked, but of course that sort of thing is completely subjective. Many people like to avoid any kind of footage entirely until they can experience the game for themselves, so it is best to remian vigilant as Halo Infinite's launch comes up in just a few short weeks.

As mentioned, previews from several media outlets have been churning out a positive reception to the opening hours of Halo Infinite's campaign. At the moment, it seems as if Halo Infinite's multiplayer is also generating glowing praise, as many have suggested that 343 Industries has finally nailed that Halo feeling. However, it is hard to say how successful of a launch its multiplayer component has ha, as Microsoft and the Xbox team have not given out any hard numbers with regards to player engagement.

It remains to be seen if Halo Infinite as a whole can beat out the recent release of Forza Horizon 5, as the racing game became the biggest launch in Xbox history. Regardless, what is clear is that players who want to go into the campaign unspoiled should be careful when browsing the internet.

Halo Infinite releases on December 8, 2021, while its multiplayer component is free-to-play and available now.
