Xbox Game Studios and 343 Industries recently released the multiplayer beta of Halo Infinite and it has some issues despite being tremendously popular. According to one of the folks at 343 Industries, the performance of Halo Infinite should improve with its next update.

Halo Esports and Viewership Lead at 343 Industries Tashi recently took to Twitter to thank patient Halo Infinite fans for bearing with the technical issues and delays experienced on December 2. In response to Tashi's fan appreciation post, one excited Halo Infinite fan asked if Tashi had an update on how the fixes were going. Tashi quickly replied to this Halo Infinite fan confirming that the game will see improvements to stability in its next update which releases on December 8.

The full release of Halo Infinite is expected for December 8, allowing fans of the multiplayer beta to finally delve into the anticipated campaign. Because the Halo Infinite multiplayer will see a number of fixes on December 8, it's likely that the game will have a day-one patch that addresses some campaign issues in addition to the multiplayer stability improvements. It's currently unclear just how big the December 8 patch will be, but Tashi's confirmation of the patch proves that players will have to download something that day whether they want to experience the Halo Infinite campaign or not.

The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is expected to end on December 8 as well, making the experience closer to the full multiplayer feel than it currently is. Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta has been free for all to try on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and that will continue to be the case as the multiplayer remains a free offering after the game's full launch.

Halo Community Manager John Junyszek recently confirmed Halo Infinite's multiplayer will soon nclude Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All playlists. These additions to the Halo Infinite playlist system aren't expected for December 8, but they are expected by the end of the month.

The currently available playlists in Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta are Quick Play, Ranked Arena, and Big Team Battle. These playlists encompass six game modes: Halo's popular Slayer mode, Capture the Flag, Oddball, Strongholds, Stockpile, and Total Control. Although some long-time Halo fans are lamenting the lack of standard Slayer queues, 343 Industries is already working to ensure the needs of veterans are also met with the next-gen Halo title.

Halo Infinite releases for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on December 8.
