Despite how much fans have enjoyed Halo Infinite's multiplayer, there are inevitable concerns and gripes that some players have shared with regard to its Battle Pass and event structure. 343 Industries has been receptive and efficient with its intake of feedback from fans, and many structural changes have already been swiftly implemented into Halo Infinite's multiplayer since its surprise launch.

Halo Infinite's popular Fracture: Tenrai event has ceased for now, though 343 Industries has shared plans to reprise it multiple times in the new year for players who were previously unable to reap its rewards. Further, the Tenrai event has been criticized for advertising exclusive cosmetics in the store as well as in the event. These event concerns have fortunately been addressed with a lot of exciting news for fans in the future of Halo Infinite's multiplayer.

343 Industries design head Jerry Hook recently shared information about changes that will be implemented toward exclusively purchasable cosmetics from the Tenrai event that were not earnable or unlockable. Hook emphasizes that earnable or unlockable event cosmetics should not be advertised in Halo Infinite's store as it defeats the purpose of having exclusive, isolated events for players to participate in. This oversight will be rectified for future Tenrai events, but there is also another improvement made to the event rewards that is sure to please fans.

Noah Benesch, Halo Infinite's Marketing Lead on PC, has confirmed that changes to the Tenrai event will include a substitution of "XP boosts and challenge swaps after Tier 10" for much more sought after items and cosmetics, such as the "full Kabuto armor set" and pose. Having these rewards unlockable earlier, as well as having them be exclusive to the free, earnable unlocks for the event, ensures that all players receive the same experience and can access these highly anticipated event rewards sooner.

Halo Infinite's Battle Pass alterations have already made it less tedious to procure XP toward each rung of free and paywall-locked rewards. But with these significant improvements made to the Tenrai event, 343 Industries has ultimately made it so that future events, and not just Tenrai, will include the same benefits and consideration for players' participation going forward. Because Fracture: Tenrai will be available intermittently over a bunch of different periods, it may now be much easier and fluid trying to collect the rewards that players seek.

Halo Infinite is available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
