It's hardly a secret that there's a lot going on with Halo Infinite behind the scenes, especially now that the cooperative campaign mode is out in beta and Forge Mode proper will be releasing soon. However, these major additions aren't the only things that seem to be coming to Infinite at this time, and certain smaller bits and pieces of content are being shown off by data miners already. One of these Halo Infinite bits and pieces seems to be the UH-144 Falcon rotor-copter, as a data miner has discovered what looks to be an extremely early rendition of the vehicle. While this doesn't necessarily outright confirm that the Falcon dropship will eventually be a useable vehicle in the latest Halo game, the state of the model is very curious indeed.RELATED: Halo Infinite Removing One Game Mode, But Adding Ranked DoublesAccording to the Halo Leaks Twitter account, the data mined version of the UH-144 Falcon is, in fact, very similar to the deprecated, left-over version of the vehicle from Halo 4. It's a blocky, low-detail rendition of the vehicle, but one that unmistakably has the distinct silhouette of the Falcon. The specific screenshot featured by Halo Leaks also shows off the previously leaked Halo Infinite Bulldog DMR, though this time without its classic scope.

While the current state of Halo Infinite leaves much to be desired, 343 Industries certainly seems to be juggling a fair few upcoming content releases in the backend. Aside from massive additions such as the co-op campaign and Forge Mode, the Falcon and the Bulldog may either end up being small-scale content updates or part of a substantial DLC-level endeavor. If that's what 343 is preparing these items for, then they may end up being a part of the first major Halo Infinite expansion pack in the end.

With Halo Infinite still missing a number of weapons from Halo, it's no wonder that 343 Industries is looking to slowly reintroduce a number of old classics into the mix. Now that there are also production files available for vehicles, such as the Falcon itself, it's possible that the developer may work on adding other assorted gear and vehicles to the game as well.

Of course, it's also worth pointing out that, since this model is so similar to the one that was available in Halo 4, 343 may have simply imported it for some other purpose. It's not guaranteed that the Falcon is actually being developed as a drivable vehicle, and it'd serve fine as a piece of far-away window-dressing in its current state. With all the other features Halo Infinite players are waiting for, the addition of a Falcon seems comparatively rather simplistic, after all.

Halo Infinite is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
