It's already been two years since the initial announcement of Halo Infinite and yet, there is still so much information regarding the game that has gone unspoken. Over the course of the last two years, fans of the series have scoured the entire internet in hopes of finding any hint of new information regarding Halo Infinite. This latest piece of information comes from a rather unexpected source.

There has been a lot of fan speculation regarding the newest installment in the Halo series and in what ways this new game will impact the story. From what 343 Industries has shown off already, it seems like Halo Infinite is going back to the roots of the franchise, with the game taking place on an iconic Halo ring. However, there have also been talks of Infinite having open-world and exploration mechanics.

Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing, underlying issue with the game. The lack of any concrete Halo Infinite information, especially for a game that was announced back in 2018 is rather suspect. Whether it's intentional or not, it has not stopped fans from speculating or trying to find out anything and everything they can with regards to the game. No matter how big or small.

The newest piece of info comes courtesy of Instagram user anerdydad, a well-known Funko Pop leaker who says that there will be three new Halo Infinite themed Funko Pops releasing soon. These Funko Pops are "Master Chief", "Mark 7" and "Mark 7 with Vakara." Master Chief should come as no surprise to anyone and the Mark 7 armor is a variant of Spartan armor, but Vakara is definitely new.

Vakara appears to be a new element featured in Halo Infinite, but there's not much to go off of in terms of what Vakara could actually be. Some fans have already speculated that Vakara could be a new A.I. that could replace Cortana or just a new character entirely. Though, without any images of the Funko Pops themselves, there's no definitive way of knowing.

Halo Infinite is the upcoming installment in the Halo franchise. Since its announcement back in E3 2018, it has taken the internet by storm. Sadly, there has been next to no information regarding the finer details of the game. However, that could very well change a month from now when 343 Industries shows off gameplay footage at the Xbox 20/20 event in July.

Halo Infinite is set to release during the Holiday of 2020.
