Forge Mode has been a part of the Halo franchise for a long time, with gamers making stunning creations since Halo 3. Unfortunately, players are still waiting for 343 Industries to release the newest iteration of the mode for Halo Infinite. However, some gamers have already gained access to Forge Mode and have created some impressive builds

Among those showing off the creative possibilities of Forge Mode is a freelance artist known as Dan Brindley Johnson. Taking to Twitter, they recently shared several pictures of a build they had made using the yet-to-be-released creation toolset for Halo Infinite. In particular, their creation stood out because they had decided to remake the Nether from Minecraft, and the results were nothing short of amazing.

In the image shared by Dan Brindley Johnson, a player could be seen holding the classic assault rifle from Halo Infinite in a world that looked distinctly out of Minecraft. Besides the firearm, all the other elements had a blocky appearance to them that replicated nearly perfectly the design of the Nether. For example, the artist created a giant pool of lava with more molten material descending from above. In addition, the world designed in Forge included a Nether Portal, complete with a purple glow, and a massive Ghast floating above the lava.

While this creation made in Forge was impressive, it was not the only Minecraft-themed build made by Dan Brindley Johnson in Halo Infinite. Beyond the Nether, they decided to show several pictures of their work-in-progress Minecraft village. Impressively, this second creation looked very similar to Minecraft as well. While the textures looked different from those found in the vanilla version of Minecraft, the buildings and distant cliffside all had a distinct blocky shape. Some features seen in the Forge creation were blocky trees, a few houses, and a lamp post with torches attached to its sides. The artist even included a Nether portal on top of the cliff.

Unsurprisingly, this impressive Minecraft-inspired build made in Forge caught the attention of many gamers on social media. Since Dan Brindley Johnson shared the images of the village and Nether, the posts have collectively received almost 10K likes on Twitter. In addition to many praising the look of the creations, one gamer commented that they wished one day Halo Infinite would bring Minecraft content to the game.

It is likely exciting for many fans to see artists use Forge to create a number of impressive builds, even before the mode becomes available to everyone. In addition to Minecraft, other players that have already gained access to the mode have shared some intriguing creations. For example, one gamer recreated PT in Forge Mode. It will be interesting to see what other things are made by the community when the feature is finally made available in Halo Infinite to all users in the future.

Halo Infinite is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
