Halo Infinite, the long-awaited addition to the Halo franchise, has arrived. Halo Infinite brings with it a load of changes to the Halo formula, and introduces the series to its first open-world in its 20-year run. The game's open world has been received by fans with generally positive reactions.

There are many things that can be found hidden on Halo Infinite's Zeta Halo. Halo Infinite's world, along with the franchise's rich history, has given developers many opportunities to include more lore and story building in the form of audio log collectibles that can be found around Zeta Halo. The larger world has also allowed the inclusion of many easter eggs and references that are scattered around the map for longtime fans to find.

10 Craig On Tour

Halo Infinite Craig Tour Album

Craig became an internet-wide meme after 343 Industries showed off initial gameplay of Halo Infinite back in July of 2020. The Halo Infinite developers delayed release to fix issues with the game's visuals and gameplay, and upon release have turned Craig into a hidden easter egg. References to him can be found all over Zeta Halo, and it appears that he has become a rock star.

An instrument, stage, album, and promotional poster can be found for Craig's musical venture on top of the Tower. Players can use an air vehicle such as a Wasp or Banshee to access the easter egg, though it is also accessible using an upgraded grapple hook.

9 Character Plushies

Halo Infinite Plush Characters Master Chief

Found in random places around Zeta Halo are plush dolls featuring notable characters from the Halo franchise. Master Chief, Cortana, and the Pilot all have their own dolls. Players can also find dolls for characters from past Halo games not featured in Halo Infinite, such as the Arbiter and Didact. These dolls are seemingly the only reference to some of these characters.

The dolls can be found in many places across the map, with some locations being fitting to the referenced character's role in the Halo universe. For example, the Pilot's doll can be found high up on one of Halo Infinite's tallest peaks.

8 Scorpion Gun

Halo Infinite Invisible Scorpion Gun Location

The Scorpion Gun in Halo Infinite is possibly a reference to an easter egg in Halo 2, in which players could wield a Scarab Gun to devastating effect. With this easter egg, players can use an invisible gun that seemingly shoots the bullets of a Scorpion Tank and does massive amounts of damage. The gun is a sure-fire way to blast through the game's campaign, even on higher difficulties. If considered an actual option to players and their arsenal, the Scorpion Gun easter egg would be one of the best weapons in Halo Infinite's campaign.

The Scorpion Gun can be finicky to obtain. It is found directly after players arrive on Zeta Halo's surface and clear all of the enemies from Outpost Tremonius. It is located on top of wreckage in the area, but must be obtained before continuing the main campaign mission, as it will disappear after this. The gun is invisible to players, so they will need to keep an eye out for the prompt to pick the gun up.

7 Mr. Meeseeks

Halo Infinite Mr. Meeseeks Box Easter Egg

A Mr. Meeseeks box can be found in Halo Infinite, in reference to the TV show Rick and Morty. When Mr. Meeseeks is involved, things can get out of hand quickly, so it's a wonder how this box ended up on Zeta Halo.

The Mr. Meeseeks box can be found in the Tower on Infinite's 1st Island. This is the same location where players can find a Craig easter egg, as well as one of Halo Infinite's hidden skulls.

6 Halo Arcade Game

Halo Infinite Halo Arcade Game Easter Egg

A Halo Infinite arcade machine can be found early on in the campaign. These Game Zone arcade machines can also be found on the multiplayer map Streets. The arcade machine features Halo Infinite's logo, and plays a retro version of the game's main theme.

The Game Zone Halo Infinite arcade machine can be found behind Outpost Tremonius. Players must follow the path to the left of the Outpost when facing its main structure. This path will lead players to a door containing the arcade machine. While players are not able to interact with the arcade machine, it is a cool addition.

5 Blood Gulch Hologram

Halo Infinite Blood Gulch Hologram

A reference to the infamous Blood Gulch multiplayer map that was first introduced all the way back in Halo: Combat Evolved can be found in one of the campaign's Banished Outposts. Blood Gulch is one of Halo's most beloved multiplayer maps and has been featured in many online media, including the long-running web series Red vs Blue.

This easter egg can be found on Halo Infinite's 4th Island in the Banished Outpost Riven Gate. Traveling in an underground passage, players can find a hologram depicting Blood Gulch tucked away behind some crates.

4 Peanut The Gopher

Halo Infinite Gopher

A gopher can be found shown alongside Halo Infinite's other mysterious cylixes. This gopher was confirmed to be named "Peanut" by a 343 employee after players posted about it online. This is a strange easter egg, as it is on display next to otherwise eerie figures.

In one of Halo Infinite's first campaign missions, players will come across a room with slates depicting some humanoid figures. The gopher cylix can be found in the bottom right corner of the room if players scale to the lower levels of the storage room using their grapple hook.

3 Shiela The Tank

Halo Infinite Scorpion Tank

Shiela the Tank is referenced a few times throughout Halo Infinite's campaign. This vehicle is seemingly a reference to the internet web series Reb vs Blue, where a tank named Shiela accompanies the show's Blue Team.

Shiela is most notably referenced in the campaign achievement "Bring Shiela Home Safely," which requires players to travel a road from start to finish while driving Shiela. This achievement is available during the game's "The Road" mission. Players will have to avoid destroying Shiela and make it to the endpoint in order to get the achievement.

2 Giant Sandwich

Halo Infinite Grunts worshipping Giant Sandwich

Players can find a giant sandwich in one of Halo Infinite's many caves. The sandwich appears to be surrounded by a squad of worshipping Grunts, and with its size, it's worthy of the praise it gets. There is not much to the easter egg aside from a quick visit, but it is worth seeing at least once in the journey across Zeta Halo.

Players can find this easter egg just south of the Spire on the game's 4th Island. Located inside a cave, players will have to travel through a hidden entrance using their grapple hook to find the giant sandwich.

1 Original Xbox

Halo Infinite Original Xbox Easter Egg

Players can find an original Xbox console nuzzled into a cave on Infinite's 4th Island. This reference is especially fitting for the year of Xbox and Halo's 20th anniversary.

Like many of the easter eggs in Halo Infinite, players will need to travel into one of Zeta Halo's many cave systems and then grapple their way into a secret entrance. Once it has been found, players will see an original Xbox console as well as a TV monitor.

Halo Infinite is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
