As the release of Halo Infinite draws closer, fans have been hoping that Microsoft will announce a few Collector's Editions for the most diehard fans of the franchise. Luckily for those wondering if and when special editions of the game would ever be coming, Walmart listed a Collector's Edition of the game that includes a lot of great items for Halo's biggest fans.

The Walmart listing for Halo Infinite Collector's Edition costs $169.99 and includes a steel-book case of the game, a set of five Halo and UNSC-themed patches, a plasma pistol replica bottle opener (not to scale), two different Halo lanyards with one UNSC charm and ID wallet, a mini artbook, an 11.25" by 9.25" Darkhorse desktop portfolio art piece, a note from the developers, and, perhaps best of all, an energy sword desklamp.

Like with many other limited runs of gaming apparel and collector's items, Walmart sold out of its Halo Infinite Collector's Editions almost instantly. The listing notes that the retailer is limited to 10,000 units, but it's unclear if all 10,000 were listed at the same time or if it will be having another sale at some point in the future. Anyone who wasn't able to grab it before it sold out might be able to hold onto hope that other retailers like BestBuy and Target might have similar editions.

This isn't the only listing that Walmart has for Halo Infinite collector's items, however, as the retailer is also offering a steel book edition of the game with a free Mega Contrux Master Chief helmet of various colors. While that edition certainly doesn't have the same number of collectible items, it's not a bad purchase to make for anyone looking exclusively for a steel book edition of the upcoming shooter.

As mentioned above, it's also likely that there will be more Collector's Editions for the game announced in the coming weeks as Halo Infinite's release date gets closer. It's currently unclear if retailers will have the same items in their editions or if they'll be retailer-specific, but either way, anyone who missed out should be able to grab another Collector's Edition sometime soon.

This isn't the first time that a retailer has leaked information about Halo Infinite leading up to its release. Oceanic electronic store JB Hi-Fi showed off some exclusive in-game preorder items earlier this year suggesting that there could be other pre-order items from different retailers across the globe, but there hasn't been any confirmation of that outside of the region yet.

Halo Infinite launches on December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
