Halo Infinite is one of this season's largest games, and naturally, it has crossed over with many other brands in preparation of its release. The latest sponsor of Halo Infinite is Chipotle, where players can use a code at checkout to unlock a handful of Challenge Swaps to use on their Weekly Challenges.

There have been many promotions for Halo Infinite over the last year, many of them beginning in 2020 when the game was originally supposed to launch. Brands such as Krispy Kreme, Rockstar Energy Drink, Razer, AMD, and plenty of others have collaborated with the game, some of which also offering exclusive content that can only be unlocked by purchasing those products. For example, Nerf released a special Halo Infinite Assault Rifle that is green and white with an orange muzzle, and every unit comes with a code that unlocks a skin for the in-game Assault Rifle based on the Nerf blaster.

Xbox has announced a new promotion between Halo Infinite and Chipotle, which can seriously help players chip away at their Weekly Challenges. Jenny Miller of Xbox Global Brand Partnerships outlines the collaboration in a new Xbox Wire post, explaining that by using the code HALO117 at checkout, players will receive a code for 5 Challenge Swaps. "Now, just like customizing a burrito bowl, players can customize their challenges in Halo Infinite," Miller writes. Using a Challenge Swap in Halo Infinite allows players to reroll a Weekly Challenge for a new, random one, giving players more control over what tasks they feel like pursuing and completing.

Also part of this blog post is the announcement of the Chipotle Challenger Series' return for the winter 2021. This is a free-for-all Halo Infinite tournament that consists of three open qualifiers that ultimately lead to a Grand Finals tournament, where players can win upwards of $10,000 and free Chipotle for a year. The tourney is free to enter and runs from December December 10-13, with the Grand Finals on December 14 and a special Show Match featuring the likes of TimTheTatMan, Nadeshot, Myth, and Cloakzy on December 15. Previous Chipotle Challenge Series tournaments were based in Fortnite and operated in similar structures.

The ongoing discussion regarding Halo Infinite's progression returns once again with this new sponsorship with Chipotle. Although 343 Industries has stated large changes are on the way, it seems for the time being it is not backing down from the Weekly Challenges and Challenge Swap-oriented structure of the current progression system. Considering the only way to get Challenge Swaps currently is by either unlocking them in the battle pass or by purchasing them in the Halo Infinite store, it is really isn't too bad a deal if while buying a Chipotle meal, entering a simple code can get you 5 free Challenge Swaps. They aren't too expensive in-game (about $.50) but there's no way of buying them individually.

The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the full game releasing on December 8.
